This is one of the worst games I have ever played. The amount of grind required to beat even the base difficulty on normal mode is absurd. Your in-game currency is taxed so much and you gain so little from each mission it’s almost impossible to keep up.

Mind you I’m one of those players who bought into this game back when it first launched and wasn’t even on steam, an alpha player who was promised a nice single player if they bought the “alpha” pack, 20 dollars, which I did. Many years later, I think about 6 or 7? We get wastelands, which was a waste of money. It’s hard to be upset at 20 dollars so many years ago but it doesn’t end there.

I was a player who did all the events, collected all items. I have every skin for this game, even the Alpha striker and Raptr stuff from days long past. I invested a lot of time into this game thinking it might be great one day only to get this slop spit on my face.

Game is basically impossible to beat, even on normal (easiest game mode). Good luck trying to beat this vaporware.

It's extremely prohibitive to people who cannot find people to play with and are bad at multitasking, like myself. Can't multitask in this game, can barely play normal without losing.

Kudos gain (in-game currancy) is laughable.

Grinding is too necessary, everything in this game demands kudos, the in-game currancy.

You have to:
~Pay for every unit you lose in-game, lose all your units and have no money? I hope you can play without any units then.
~Pay to level up your airmech, considering you’re going to need 4+ of these things and each level up starts costing around 2k each you are looking at many thousands of your hard to earn currency going up in smoke just for this purpose alone.
~Pay for your items every 2-3 levels, these start costing several thousand dollars as well and even though this game says it’s an ARPG the amount of loot you get is almost nothing, and you most certainly will not get a full set of level appropriate gear.

This game has forced me into this disgusting gameplay loop: lose match -> Lose almost all units -> gain a small amount of currency -> use all of it to get units back (minus a few) -> repeat.

No money for level ups, no money for upgrades, stuck.

I don’t care how easy you had it, but this game is unplayable for me. It got to the point a dev even gave me currency and I burned through it so fast it was gone in like an instant. This tells me the kudos gain is insane.

The only way to get through this game is to be carried, but the game is almost vaporware in terms of player base and you will, rarely, get someone to run you through a few missions. Unless you’re extremely skilled at multitasking gameplay between ‘sort of rts’ with awful controls to action pact ARPG, you won’t get far. Maybe buy this game with several friends when it’s on sale, you might be able to power through it.

Speaking of manually doing stuff, why do I have to go to a new shop, manually level up my character with money, manually rebuy my dead units, manually buy so many things what is this World of Warcraft vanilla? Is this 2004?

Not being able to use basically ANY airmechs but the one's that have gear in shops you have current access too. I can't use my neo, striker, warthog, or osprey pretty much for the first 6 hours of gameplay. More so the NEO which I still cannot get skill items. The game punishes you for getting anything early, you are completely ruined if you do so.

The lack of explanation on how to do anything in this game, from scrap money making to how items work. No tutorials no clue how to play or what to do.

Oh and one last huge issue, you advertise this game as an ARPG when it clearly is not. This is a flat out lie, this is not an action roleplaying game. This game shares almost nothing in common with the likes of Diablo or it's kin. Just because you sometimes get loot from enemies and your game is isometric doesn't an ARPG make.

Ya know what? This is an 'ok' game on it's own. Considering this is from 2008 and has been spoken of and debated so much across the Internet, at this point there is nothing I can add to the coversation that hasn't already been said.

Yes, it was the biggest let down in gaming in the last two decades, there have been bigger let downs in the last two years so is this game that bad? I mean it's total gutter garbage if compared to what it was SUPPOSED TO BE.

But that is not what the game is, and what it is, is fine.

So I played mostly on release right, and I wanted to get really spooked for the new spooky update and me and a friend join a server to enjoy and all the problems still exist months later. Dinosaurs teleport around when you hit them making combat look terrible and feel terrible and be difficult for all the wrong reasons, game still has almost no optimization.

Gonna switch my rating to a thumbs down for now. I don't want more dinos every week, I want better gameplay.

WOOOOOW

Didn't see that coming!

TRAVEL BETWEEN ARKS
Survivors can take their character, favorite creatures and items between the Island and the new Desert ARKs, making their Island-dwelling friends jealous with all of the amazing new items, structures, creatures and secrets they find in the Desert.

Paid DLC where the devs tell you to go back to the main game and shill at your friends. Amazing.

I'm just here to say I do enjoy it to some extent but due to the massive content removal I simply cannot recommend. Yes, mods can fix it, but that is not an excuse for the devs.

In a world where you are expected to action platform with extreme pinpoint precision all the while only being able to click to move, we bring you KWAAN! A game about trying to figure out how to play the game!

In this game you're required to complete random tasks each day around the world or else THE SERVER DIES! Normally you would work togeather to solve the mysteries of the world and save the day, but no one plays! Can you figure out how to stop the world from dying and end all suffering for one more day all by yourself!?! No, no you cannot! But you sure can try for 25 minutes then uninstall and refund the game.

Playing Undertale has been an emotional experience for me that was far too great. Never before have I been so invested in characters. I completed the pacifist run, then the true pasifist game right after. I thought about doing the other run, where you kill everyone and I simply can't do it. I literally cannot bring myself to do it. A video game that gave me emotional investment so much that I will never, ever get to see the rest of the content it has to offer for myself because I can't do it.

This is the first time I have ever opted out of video game content because I am unable to finish the rest of it, because it would ruin the story I got.

Also I'm a huge ♥♥♥ for subjecting myself to this fantastic example of propaganda and liking it.

Seriously, all that FMV and animation is missing and the trailer has to be one of the most misleading trailers I've ever seen.

The game overall did nothing but frustrait me with puzzles that continously griefed me with solutions that were ridiculous. Despite the game having an average play time of two hours the actual amount of interesting content is around 10 minutes, at best, and the entire time is filled with puzzle solving.

So many questions left unanswered too, so many characters that show up, give a tiny bit of story, then leave and we never hear from them again. Also all horror stops after the first act, the first section of the game and even then the horror is in the form of jump scares with one extremely brief 15 second chase sequence.

To make matters worse the game itself is so broken that the following features do not work: Steam overly, streaming via the steam client, taking screenshots (because overly is broken).

This game is exactly like a bad movie, it sells you with a trailer that shows every good part with some nice music, then when you actually go to watch it it turns out everything good was in the trailer. Replace watch with "play".

I have played a lot of RPG maker games in my time, lots of wacky crazy stuff, and I have to say that the best ones are free; nearly all of them are free but the fact they are asking three dollars for a middle of the road at very best RPG maker experience is insulting.

You may question my low play time thinking I haven't properly reviewed the game, but in reality within the .4 hours I played I figured out everything I would ever need to know as to why you should not play this game.

First off, the game on launch did not have US servers, it had only Russian ones which means the ping was so high and so bad I had no idea how to tell how the game felt whatsoever because it was so lagged due to server issues mixed with insane ping I'm shocked I got through a single battle (I got through three before uninstall). I mean for crying out loud upon launching the game my only option was to pick the Russian servers.

The game plays very loose, kind of rough, and doesn’t feel good, nor is any of the fights actually fights. It feels like just driving around looking at people instead of intense car combat. Then again I have no idea how the game ACTUALLY feels because of aforementioned problems above.

The worst part about this wasn’t even the fact that due to server issues and high ping because no local servers, thus making the game unplayable, no there was actually something worse. This game has reached NEAR CRITCAL LEVELS of free to play cancer. There are only a handful of vehicles available to drive and use in this game yet the devs think it’s a great idea to lock half of them behind a pay wall and make them the best in the game. That’s right folks; you can pay to instantly be the strongest. Besides that level progression is very slow, unlocking things without paying is a crap process, its worse than world of grind (world of tanks) yet clearly inspired by it.

Final word: at the end of the day what you are left with is another poor attempt at making a car combat game from a buncha Russians that are world of tanks fanboys and designed their game’s everything behind an already crap f2p model but done even worse. You can buy the highest and best power in this game from the very start of the game, you can pay to win instantly, it has server issues, and the devs launched the game without US servers expecting this to be fine. No players online, matches go empty, when you finally play high pings and crap servers mixed with floaty clunky controls make this a crap experience.

Don’t waste your time here.
