It's Mount & Blade. Of course it's good. There is nothing ground breaking as far as the original is concerned and that is ok. The original always felt like a good game with good ideas that lacked a lot of polish. This takes all of those things that work in the original and adds that higher level of polish. The game is exactly what I expected and wanted it to be as far as an M&B game.

I get why people like this. But I don't like this running simulator. Pretty much you run around bored, sneak up on someone, shoot them in the back, and then get shot in the back yourself. I don't know, maybe it's just me being older and crotchety and not loving FPS games as much anymore. The concept is fun, this is one of the originals. But it's just too much of investing time in a match and then getting annoyed or mad. It's probably because I suck I know. But whatever. I still haven't had too great a time in this.

The Outer Worlds is a great game. The story is interesting (and mostly fair from a philosophical perspective). Obviously it's from the same Developer as Fallout New Vegas. I'm not sure still if this game is better than NV, but it's solid. Good weapon choices and different skills seem like they matter.

I think the companions are interesting but ultimately they don't add much tactical value to combat in a lot of ways. I also wish the game offered some romance options as well. There doesn't seem to be any of that here.

I also dislike aspects of the ending. At least the ending I received. I wasn't expecting the really quick and abrupt ending that I got (and I got a "good" ending). It felt like I was about to head into a bit more game play and then it was over, here is a cinematic. The journey up to that point was great though and memorable and I felt like my choices affected the story and the ending. And while there was no romance option with the companions, they were really well done characters that I cared about.

All in all, I really recommend this game. Ultimately it was a good time.

Kingdome Come is a game that strives to be a lot. It's ambitious to say the least, especially coming from such a small developer compared to other triple A games. I won't lie, the game is buggy at times. It's not optimized the best (probably because of the Cryengine). But it's charm in my opinion should over power everything else that is a con. The story, I feel, is well written. The combat is clunky but in my opinion, still fun. It just takes some practice. If you like RPGs I think you will like this game.
