DD2 is really hard to put down. It's so easy to get lost in its world, fighting monsters, delving into dungeons, then marching back into town laden with loot. If you've got the patience, wait a couple months so the devs can iron out the some bugs and performance problems. As for me, I'll be hopping in immediately!

The Good:
- the ending slaps
- the warfarer vocation opens up so many builds
- visuals
- combat
- exploration
- combat

The Meh:
- writing is mid-to-solid most of the game

The Bad:
- city areas are poorly optimized
- slightly more control over Pawns would be nice
- escort characters should follow Pawn instructions

The current price of $20 (USD) is an absolute steal. The castle-building sucks me in like a vampire with 100% quality blood. Love the combat too; it makes it hard to enjoy other top-down ARPGs.

I enjoy playing with friends but that has more to do with the friends than this game.

Outward feels like an adventure. Haven't played the definitive edition or DLC but the base game is real good if you've got a friend to play with. The survival mechanics are engaging without being a nuisance. Build-crafting is fun. Combat is a little clunky but serviceable. The graphics are meh but the art style is lovely.

Game is good if you got friends to play with.
Sailing and ship-on-ship action are the highlights.
Combat is meh and PvP can be unforgiving for casual players.
They've done a good job refreshing the old sandbox content but it's been a while since they added anything new to it.

Love it. Dialogue and cinematics are the highlights for me.
My only issue is the mental bracing I have to do before playing - BG3 will suck you in for hours.

Decent solo, fantastic with friends.
Excited to see how this game continues to evolve.

Combat is dope.
Progression is good.
Soundtrack slaps.

A fun game that reduces me to a scared baby.
It is also jank and as of 5/18/23 the inventory/loadout/whatever is the worst I've ever seen

Step 1: Plug in a controller.
Step 2: Turn off Ambient Occlusion.
Step 3: Enjoy the game!
