More Portal, how can one complain. Advanced mode was though, but rewarding, for me.

The entire series is a gem, its evolution from one game to another is impressive. Puzzles are extremely creative and challenge the players to communicate and coordinate in a satisfying manner. Overall atmosphere is quite immersive, especially the sound design is playing with your emotions in certain scenarios. Story and lore help establish the games own identity and makes it easy to attach to it.

I played this game with a friend at his place. Even though he got the game through gamepass I wanted to buy the game on my steam account just to support the developers. It was that good!

The first thing that needs to be mentioned is that this game is not for everybody, a thing that can be said about everything else in this world actually. You can like it, or you cannot, but just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not a good game.

People overlook the description of this game and start playing it expecting to find a familiar gameplay experience and that's a mistake that will make them hate and lash out on the game. This game delivers a one of a kind video game experience (let me know if you know similar games) that does not contain all the elements found in most games, elements that guide you in order to progress within the game.

This game is intentionally not helping you progress with hints or dialogue, but it's not leaving you clueless either if you are capable of paying attention to your surroundings and use your brain for more than 3 seconds before you start whining like a baby and expect the game to grab your hand and tell you what to do.

The lack of any kind of dialogue is contributing to the atmosphere and to the idea of finding out about the story only from the environment and the events that occur, which is what you are supposed to want to experience when playing such a game and not to complain about it.

Graphics are very pleasing and captivating, as well as the weapons and the objects that you interact with and the soundtrack kicks in exactly when and how it's supposed to.

You are not supposed to feel and act like you are in a FPS such as Doom, it's not about that, you have to survive and make it through the game and that can be achieved in some places using weapons, but it requires a different approach than your familiar FPS way. Patience is key.

Having written a review for Abe`s Oddysee, I won't underline the same things as I did there.

An amazing sequel, bringing new gameplay elements thus making the puzzles even more complicated and unique.

I felt that Exoddus was a bit easier, but maybe I just got used to the style of the game, nonetheless the puzzles are still challenging and tiring. I still had to take a break after 1 hour of playing it.

It took me 17 hours to finish it and I didn't waste so much on certain sections of the game as I did in the previous one that I finished in 12 hours. At some point towards the end of the game, I found it a bit monotonous, I really wanted to end already but the game kept throwing puzzles that seemed not so relevant and a bit annoying, with the single purpose of making the game longer.

I remembered about the Oddword series recently and knew that I was too young and dumb to ever finish it. I liked the fact that you could fart and also I had a PS2 from a friend with no memory card.

Thus, I really wanted to play and see what the game is all about.

I'm finding hard to believe that this game was released in 1997 and that I chose to play this game when I missed on a lot of other modern games, but the reasons strenghten my decision.

The lore is intriguing and the characters are funny and in combination with the artistic direction it offers you a friendly, mysterious, dark and constantly a dangerous environment.

Most of the time I found the game very challenging, in 3 situations I had to check for solutions on YouTube or a written walkthrough. This game is not giving you constant and obvious hints, if you don't pay attention to the environment and don't read thoroughly the promped texts you will find yourself clueless and you get frustrated. Also, the control of the character is going to punish you if you make a single additional step in certain situations, so you have to be very coordinated and disciplined in order to pass certain sections of the game.

Game mechanics are smart and unique, considering when this game was released, generating puzzles that do not feel repetitive and putting your brain to use. I didn't play more than 1 hour constantly because I got frustrated and felt the need to take a break, that's how challenging I found this game to be.

This game is also aiming to test your personality and how much you are willing to sacrifice for the greater good, but I'm not going to talk about this. There's so much I'd like to write so that I highly praise this iconic game that everybody should experience.

I always wanted to play Limbo and since it was free, I gave it a shot.

Everything has been said about this game. Cool vibe and challenging enough puzzles. I wished for more story-telling.
