it's garry's mod - literally one of the best games of all time. I haven't played as much in the last 7 years or so but I bought this day one and it means the world to me. Go play an RP server and steal someone's car.

Early Access Review
Slow to start and get the feel for, but dear god this game is good. My hours are inflated by probably 10 or so when I accidentally left the game running over night, but after probably about 22-ish hours I cannot recommend it enough. I've beat both chapters (what's currently available), collected basically every weapon, hit level 16 or so, and still wanted more. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to buy this on a whim because I basically just liked the art style.

If you're interested at all, please read on.

It's hard to describe this game, so I can give some comparisons - all of these are genuine compliments. Think System Shock or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. combat approaches, faster-paced Thief stealth, Hunt Showdown atmosphere + gunplay, Escape from Tarkov inventory, skill point allocation with light rpg elements, open-world immersion sim environment where you can go wherever you want and play how you want to. All the while handling the balance making Blood West genuinely difficult but fair. The graphics are kind of reminiscent of old PS2 games with that perfect flavor of detail in the models. It is extremely obvious this is a love letter to the developer's favorite games.

The way that you can easily use any weapon you get your hands on and swap on the fly is amazing. Running out of resources and scrounging up ammo and healing while surrounded by enemies - 100% chef's kiss.

I love the great sense of progression. I love the creepy atmosphere, sound effects, and music. I love exploring both the canyon and the swamp, constantly finding new weapons and artifacts to experiment with. I love hiding in corners using dinky bandages after barely making it through a fight so I can avoid a soul flaw and keep my dollar streak going. I love bunny hopping around to preserve the stealth meter, slipping through holes in walls, and stabbing enemies in the back with a satisfying "shunk" as I drive my knife into a ghoulish hillbilly's head splattering pixelated gore around me before I narrowly escape detection right under the nose of a big fat cannibal. I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love this goofy western offbeat light-survival-horror-immersion sim-open world-sandbox-rpg. The vision is there and it is SOLID. It has fully captured my attention and is my favorite game I've played so far this year. No joke.

WELL DONE DEVS. CAN'T WAIT FOR CHAPTER 3!

So good I hardly know what to say. The visuals, the combat, the sound effects - it all puts me on edge and I dream about it. A true 10/10 game.

Horrendous to look at, packed to the brim with unruly jank, and makes me feel slightly nauseous. But nothing makes me feel quite like a flesh automaton animated by neurotransmitters quite like Cruelty Squad does. Magnificent and disgusting but is the kind of game that I think about at night.

Blue, blue was the heaven above me,
And the earth green at my feet;
"Oh, Life! Oh, Life!" I kept saying,
And the very word seemed sweet.

I wish I knew how to put into words how exceptional A Hat in Time is. This game absolutely oozes with charm and is extraordinarily polished. Easily one of the best games I've played in years. Between the characters, music, art, animation, gameplay, and writing, A Hat in Time excels in every way; I cannot reccomend it enough.

11/10 would make faces at the mafia again.

Edit: The DLC is also very cute and the design fits great into the theme of the game. Plus the new challenges are interesting! Support the developer! :)
