Game optimization is lacking and the performance granted on my own hardware vs. the graphical fidelity offered is disappointing to say the least.
Optimization aside, there's also graphical artifacting and visual glitches such as texture shading jitter, issues with low-res textures being rendered instead of high-res textures when using moderate zoom.

I could go on, but honestly I've just refunded the game.
I'm immensely disappointed in Colossal Order and Paradox for this. Delaying a game was an option for them, but now they've crossed that threshold and they've got to deal with this mess.

In the end, I feel sorry for the poor developers who warned leadership, but now because of leadership decisions they've got to clean this all up during an unnecessary crunch period.
Shame on the leadership responsible for this release.

I've played Elite Dangerous off and on for years now. Lately I've been loving the trading side of things as well as some mining. The game is great as a solo player and reminiscent of Freelancer, which is what I was looking for.

The game is pretty sandbox-y, which can mean that things sometimes get stale if you're not driven by your own ambitions.

If you're looking for a space game rife with story and quests, this may not be for you.

If you're looking for a space simulator with options for entrepreneurship in-game via mining, trading, transport, and battling (including piracy) look no further.

It is just too easy to let myself drift away in this game. Space has always fascinated me, and Kerbal Space Program caters to that. There's not a whole lot I can say about this game, but this:

If you like to build things, or you like space, you may just love this game.

I've never played the original, so I don't have that experience to compare to. However, this game is one of my all-time favorite RTS games. The story wasn't lacking, I felt the impact that my character had, and the progression was more than other games have to offer.
This game is great about letting you pick up where you left off, so it's a good game to beat over time.

I'd definitely recommend
