Fun couple of levels, some simple but rewarding puzzles to progress through. Good to scratch that HL2 itch.

Best roguelike/lite FPS game I've played. Persistent skill tree provides a feeling of progress even on runs where you don't make it to the boss[es]. Each of the three unlockable pyramids I've seen is a different visual style, which adds a fresh environment when moving up in difficulty.

Player abilities and weapon loadouts are another great way the game keeps things from getting tiresome/grindy feeling.

There are a few annoying rooms and enemies (spiral staircases and switchback platforming get tiresome very quickly), and the same enemies spawn in a given room each time you play, so once you recognize certain rooms, you basically know what to expect. There's no shortage of different rooms, though, and the layout is of course different with each run. The whole "redneck" theme is a bit forced at times, but most of his one-liners are tolerable when they're not eyeroll-inducing.

Definitely worth a go if you're looking for a twitchy-but-not-too-fast shooter with lots of replayability.

If you like jumping on top of rectangles, then boy have I got a game for you.

Interesting experience, completed in about 3 hours. Recommended if you like exploring low-poly game environments and feeling clever when you find something new.

I hit a bug in the second part of the game that locked me in a building with NPC's blocking both doorways, so I had to restart the level. Not much lost progress, but it did confuse me a bit, so watch out for that one.

Cute story, made me giggle a few times. Nice to have a detective game that isn't about someone getting murdered.

Submerged is like Shadow of the Colossus, but instead of Colossi, there are buildings. And instead of killing them, you enjoy the view.

some games reward me with feelings of satisfaction and achievement after completing a particularly difficult part, but limbo instead grants me only the knowledge that there will be more frustrating death ahead after i somehow pass the current challenge.

maybe one day i'll beat this game. i must be close, since i've played it for 2 hours according to steam. until then, i can only play in 10-minute chunks of agonizing defeat.

Edit: Gave up 4 minutes from the end on some crate-pushing thing because I couldn't find a second crate. After watching a video of the rest of the game, I'm satisfied with my decision.

TECH TIP: If you want to run the game above 60fps, disable the "fps smoothing" option. Each time you restart the game, you may need to re-enable this option, then turn it off again for it to register correctly.

I think I got this free from humble bumble. Worth a go if you like some WAR SHOOTINS, just note that it's brief and ends abruptly.

Lots of hitching and stuttering when turning/aiming. Managed to play for about 10mins before I decided it wasn't worth it.
