It's Journey, underwater. The graphics and music are beautiful. It's not a challenging game, but its worth experiencing.

A remarkably deep game. I love that the pacing feels very laid back but that there's still a linear progression and that you have many goals you can approach in whatever order you want. The atmosphere as you progress gets consistently more interesting, so don't judge it entirely by the cover!

This is my 2nd playthrough (first on the Switch) and I'm finding it to have a good amount of replayability.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations.

It's not a long game, but its full of so much heart and care and polish and depth.
Gameplay is quick paced and never makes you feel like you're wasting your time. the puzzles and platforming are great. And the realization of just being a cat, but still somehow doing all these great things, never really gets outlandish enough to lose your immersion. On top of that the soundtrack of this game is gorgeous!

I'm in love with this game if you cant tell...

So glad the devs are taking a stand against people intentionally breaking the ToS. Good job with the anti-cheat implementation! So far completely painless.

For anyone worried its NOT the kernel level Anti-Cheat. The game will continue to function on Linux/Steam Deck.

If you like early paper mario games, you'll love this. The level design, characters, art style, battle system, quests, story etc are all top notch. Easily one of my favorite games.

I've not player the other Souls games, aside from maybe 20 minutes worth of the switch port of the first one.

I've enjoyed this game so far. I highly recommend you try it multiplayer if you haven't played a souls game before though. I originally was having a lot of trouble figuring out how to get past certain parts.

If you liked the first one, you'll love this one. If you didn't play the first one, don't worry, there's a catch up in this game. If you didn't like the first one, don't worry this has improved every single complaint you could have had with the first.

This is polished and beautiful game design. And its so refreshing to see.

I'm not far into this game but I don't see myself getting much further. After seeing the awesome visuals in the trailer I assumed this game was an exploration game about seeing these cool locations. But so far, 30 minutes in I'm struggling to find anything fun. So far I've gone a bit through a very painful tutorial, focusing on scanning and landing and repairing broken things and none of it is intuitive or interesting at all. I don't know how much more of that I have to get through to finally be flying and seeing cool stuff but they start you on the most boring planet and tell you to navigate a 90's cell phone menu with your arrow keys. repairing and scanning for things, most of which are invisible and have no feedback when you accomplish them. Its like if you took the least fun parts of No Man's Sky and turned it into a text based adventure while watching the intro to the wrath of khan.

To the dev: Please just add a pure exploration mode. I just want to fly around and experience the stuff I see in the trailer. What I see there looks awesome but getting to it is like filing my taxes.

Its like if you took Minecraft and The Forest and merged them into a single game. The story and overall progression is great and I love the leveling system so far. 10hrs in and I feel there's a lot more to this game!

Ok so first off, is this better than VRChat? In my opinion, no. But it is definitely the closest thing VRChat has had to competition in a long time, and it's clear a lot of work was put into it, with a clear view of what it should be (Which, frankly is "VRChat but with some changes")

The best thing about this game is the pre-loading of worlds and the seamless transitions to them. VRChat needs this. Most other things are exactly as they are in VRChat. Its impressive they were able to create so much so fast, but its also clear that being able to start with VRChat as a finished product to learn from drastically shaped their view and sped up their development. But that's kinda how this stuff works. They've legitimately added some cool stuff to that (Inter-player physics, seamless world transitions, pre-loading, a cleaner and more responsive UI... most of the time) But overall VRChat has them beat. Udon, Avatar 3.0, and just the sheer level of content, gameplay, and players in VRChat.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on this project and visit often. I think the worst thing about it at the moment is all the people in the game seem like its their duty to tell you how bad VRChat and their devs are, and how much better ChilloutVR is. Tons of people who got banned from VRChat (for good reason) existing solely to be anti-VRChat. It's really disappointing and I think they need to... Chillout? and just enjoy the fact that they have a cool platform that is likely to become a major shaper in Social VR as a whole (and maybe spark some changes in VRChat for the better too, yay competition!).
