This game is a relaxing alternative to FPS games. For those of us who grew up near a farm or dairy, it's fun driving realistic recreations of big machines.

IMO this game shares top spot with Stranded Deep in the survival-on-water category. Opposite from most action games, the player is low on the food chain. The boss monsters cannot be defeated. The result is the purest type of scientific exploration focused on survival, not weapons tech.

Top 5 G.O.A.T. games. Perfect blend of open world, immersive lore, and melee combat.

My love of Civilization and Eve Online attracts me to this game. Civ influenced the empire building mechanic, while Eve-like fleet battles are planned from a God-like point of view. The game simplifies some of the best elements of both games.
