Helldivers 2 is a fantastic multiplayer team shooter, and besides the PSN account integration. A great game to grab with a couple of friends to kill bugs, robots and maybe even [REDACTED].

Expect to be the Quality Assurance team on all new Super Earth inventions such as plasma grenade launchers that don't fire through your personal shield and cause you to explode every time you fire it, Walkers that explode and kill you when you turn right and fire rockets because the manufacturing team on Super Earth loves to get us fresh weapons and equipment for the fight for Democracy.

Respect to the community for standing up for democracy, all we need now is Super Earth to abolish the C0-1 forms.

Oh hey, massive patch just released full of bugs, causing reloading and stimming to be broken because they just wanted to rush the PSN account link patch. It's disappointing when corporate greed stops us from truly serving Democracy.

See below for every country they blocked from playing their game because they are unable to make PSN accounts, essentially destroying the game for people who had bought it 3 months afterwards.

If you really enjoyed classic hunting games but don't want to get out the old consoles, theHunter is a good alternative choice. The game balances the realism of a hunting simulation but also adds gamification with perks, experience gain and additional unlockables. On the other hand, don't expect to run and gun your way through the forest or all those animals you're hunting will be long gone.

In regards to content because of the additional DLC for the game, you don't need it and can spend hundreds of hours on the base map alone. The additional tools, features and maps just enhance the already good game.

Within my first few games of Crusader Kings III I managed to blackmail the pope for witchcraft and I could use him to claim by god that I had rightful ownership of any title I wanted as long as I could afford it in Piety.

10/10 would recommend for you extremely in depth simulator nerds.

Update: As of September 1st 2022, upon the release of the Age Of Sorcery. The game has become a micro-transaction battle pass fuelled game, the developers decided to throw progress and fixing bugs to the wind in lieu of milking the player base. There's still the same problem with joining co-op servers just not working, you still spawn inside the floor half of the time causing you to reload the server and hope you get unstuck from the floor, steam workshop support is garbage. The game is still a great survival/adventure game, but the micro transaction introduction is really a terrible move by the Devs/Publisher.


Review: September 2021: Previously Conan Exiles had suffered from some real technical and game play loop issues and that actually turned me away from the game. Recently my friends convinced me to give it another shot since the most recent large update and honestly, it's actually quite good now that I've dumped over 100 hours into this game so far and that's only on the original map.

My experience has been with a couple of friends co-oping and running our own PVE small server and it's been so much fun. The progression is stretched out and the game play loop feels rewarding. If you had tried this game in the past or heard the older negative reviews about the game, I'd honestly say you give it another shot. You may still not like it, but you also might get hooked on it like I did.

This game is amazing, the two player versus mode literally will make you yell and scream, I've played this with my various room mates, and I agree that this game is worth the money for the fun. The controls are really smooth as well, I personally use a controller, but I have used the keyboard controls and they are pretty good too.

Totally worth the money, I would give this game ten bananas out of seven coconuts.
