This game is worth at most 10 euros.

Summary:
Graphics: 7/10 when they aren't glitching all over the place.
Sound: 5/10 Unremarkable.
Gameplay: 3/10 This is a platformer / walking simulator, not an action/adventure game.
Main Story: 4/10 If it was a child writing it I'd give it a 7 for trying.
Optimization: 1/10 Takes long to start and uses the majority of the resources available to produce an average result.

I'll use their own steam 'about the game' page to explain my grievances.

action-adventure game
Over half of the first part of the game is platforming sprinkled with 5-10 second action moments. That's not what an action-adventure game is. The very last part of the game's main story starts to bring more of the action part in. The adventure part never really shows up considering how arduous it is to traverse the game world.

Narratively driven
Narrative-driven. The story is a shambles with predictable 'twists' but little cohesion and an excessive amount of plot-armor. Compared to Baldur's Gate 3, the story is a painful joke and nothing more.

Stand against the darkness
What darkness they are talking about is quite unclear due to the above. You'll find yourself looking at different enemies repeatedly as if the writers ran out of content each time and had to stitch together more things to make the game longer than it had any right to be.

Continue Cal's journey
Despite a previously harsh life and many encounters, it seems Cal learned very little from it all for some reason. He has to relearn from the same mistakes and in the end feeling like he has learned nothing at all considering he is still going forwards in the same way as where he began. Character progression of a stone.

Go beyond your training
By doing what, glitch your way through various finishers that knock you up into the air, push you out of position or occasionally throw you off of the edge you were fighting on? A well executed finisher, such as in DOOM, makes a game more immersive. Seeing your character awkwardly glitch the lightsabers together in an attempt to make it more 'cinematic' does not.

Explore an untamed galaxy
To make people want to explore, there needs to be things of worth to be found. These would be things that impact the gameplay, story or character in a meaningful way. A skin that makes the character's facial hair slightly different does not make for sufficient a trigger. If anything, it's just straight up weird, as if someone in the design team went "Well, we need something to get them to do the extra filler we put in there, let's go with a new ponch..that was last time, eh, facial hair or other simplistic skins!" For a character that you see from behind during the majority of your playing, so you can never really see the results of your lightsaber, droid or character changes outside of different outfits...but who cares about different outfits in a single player game that have no impact on the gameplay?

The other thing you need for making people want to explore is fun traversal of the areas. Fun, not laborious.

PC optimized graphics
That's a good joke. What do you mean, it wasn't a joke? Oh...

Ray-Tracing
You won't notice the difference.

Controls and customization
The controls are so bad during gameplay that I strongly suggest a redesign of what the controls do rather than how you assign the buttons. If I force pull something towards me that I can carry (simple enough to program in), then I shouldn't have to hold the damn button for the entirety of the duration. A simple 'tap once to grab, tap again to drop' would have fixed this. Seriously. Then there's the auto-snapping to a target which doesn't aim towards where you're looking but rather whichever enemy in the screen is closest...A single raycast to check for collision of the very few enemies you find the majority of the time where you bother to want to use your sparse force abilities was too expensive? Your optimization was already garbage, just do the damn raycast and at least make your already severely lacking gameplay slightly more smooth.

Skills
Not mentioned, but definitely worth breaking down because these add no significant things to the gameplay whatsoever. At no point during the game did I feel like I was stronger the further I got, bar from one change that was ridiculous to begin with but had nothing to do with the skills I chose.

Summary
How dare you ask 70 euros for this low quality badly designed piece of junk. I suppose because you get away with it and that's all. No more games from EA for me at all now.

This is a game for people that want to invest the time into learning exactly how to play it. If you just want to have some casual mech fun, skip this one, the difficulty won't allow it. If you do and you like dark souls like 'smashing your head into a boss until you beat it', you will probably enjoy it.

Yes, it's a "Get Good" problem; I don't have the time to do so. I would have to train my reflexes and then train my game knowledge so that I know exactly which parts would do well in which situations.
This leads me to another thing I do not appreciate: you must play it the way the game wants you to, not the way you want to.

Simply Incredible game.
There are no mistakes, only happy little accidents.

Early Access Review
One of the games that is on my definitive VR games to play list.
Very fun to play, especially in multiplayer!

It isn't finished, but experience wise I'm already very happy.
Can't wait to see further updates!

Now to find a way to get a proper microphone running so I can do more than just wave awkwardly at my fellow archers.
I'll also be able to share my facepalm moments when only _just_ missing a shot, five times in a row...

A thousand words could be written about how well this game was made.
But instead, I cut everyone in a thousand pieces and laugh like a maniac whilst enjoying the incredible graphics and the great music. Best port I have ever seen.
LET 'ER RIP!
