In terms of competing against others online, Strive is the most enjoyable experience I've ever had across dozens of fighting games.

Hades is the closest thing to a flawless game I've ever played. Literally every aspect of the game -- design, story, characters, music, sound, voice-acting, combat, progression -- everything is fine-tuned and top quality. It sets a completely new bar for story-telling in a rogue-like game, and the sheer amount of voiced dialogue is delightful and keeps things fresh and interesting even after dozens of runs.

One of the most unique and well-told mystery experiences. Engaging, creative, and enjoyable beginning to end.

Probably the single most addictive game I've ever played. Basically turns MtG drafting into a rogue-like. A genre-defining twist on both card-games and rogue-lites.

Update: The fanbase for this game definitely hit an intolerable fever pitch for a while, but that's long past and the silly memes really shouldn't disuade anyone from trying this. Note that the more you know about it and/or expect from it the more your experience may suffer. But I stand by my original review below. The game will charm you if you let it.

I really can't say enough good things about this game, it was a complete surprise. Do yourself a favor and, if you've somehow avoided spoilers up to this point, keep it that way and just jump into the game as blind as possible and without any expectations. The most impressive game from a single developer I've ever played.
