Good $8 game along the lines of Lethal Company, so if you liked that game and its social aspects, you'll enjoy this.

The game is only as fun as the people you play with it, you'll either have an amazing time or a bland one if you don't have good chemistry with the people you're playing with.

Very dependent on the cameraman to get good clips. You only have 1min30sec of footage you can nab, and only one person can hold the camera.

The game would be improved by letting multiple people grab footage, and having a "clipping" function so you can retroactively clip something that's already happened, rather than proactively rolling the tape hoping something funny or scary will happen, especially since you are incentivized to be selective for when you're recording. More entertaining interactions would be caught this way that are lost otherwise. Having everybody able to record or clip things would allow for the gameplay to be more collaborative. If the cameraman sucks you're SoL that game.

More randomized map generations would be good for replayability, and more variety of creatures and phenomena you can run into, since the game relies a lot on the fear of the unknown. There's a relatively small amount of monsters you can run into at launch currently.

Having a tool to help you retrace your steps like bread crumb trails or spray paint would be nice QoL and could have interactions with any new creatures, like a monster that eats and follows breadcrumbs or leaves trails of their own.

good core gameplay but very much unfinished, very spooky microtransaction practices for a paid game... play deep rock galactic instead and check here again in a year

>king attempts to rally the court to get me banned

>make fun of this tomfoolery by using the word gay whenever possible
>"exe this guy, he's gay" , "good job, you're a true str8 boye" etc.
>get suspended on the same day for homophobia

fast forward a week

>playing as a friendly neutral alch
>working with cult bro
>cult leader doesn't like it even tho we can win together
>cult leader becomes king
>REEEEEs at cult bro for trying to side with neuts
>teams with NK and gets other cult bro killed
>kills rest of 2-3 court boys remaining
>throws the game and lets neutral killer kill him, flaming cult bro the whole time
>his team, and like two neutrals who were gonna win with cult bro lose
>like 6 people report him
and to this day he has never been suspended

(all bans/suspends are shown on their community discord in the #justice channel, i check it every once a while just to see if that guy ever gets the hammer lol)

for real, gameplay is super fun, but the admins are really SJW-ish and i've heard of people getting their negative reviews on this page removed for calling them out on it

if you're willing to completely ignore the community or if you are a literal robot, it's a good buy

if you have ever called someone over the internet "gay" run while you still can

this review will probably be purged as well

I think I would've spent $200+ dollars on this game if I bought all the DLC for it full price. 10/10 not a moneypit

You can waste many hours of your life playing this game, because it's like 200 games in one.
