“Was that it?” is what she said.
No really, was that it?
Haven’t played the game in a while but it reminded me why I don’t enjoy the full game. As a DLC content… it’s lacking, as a single section it’s lacking more.
It’s a small segment of about 4 rooms, with some dialog, none of it has an impact on the main story. Coming back years later is shallow compared to the recent Harley Quinn Animated series and how devoid these characters are.

A simple jump in and play FPS shooter, the matchmaking make it easy for anyone to get into it, and the guns literally make the sound “pew pew.” But when you start to dig into the Raid the game becomes mechanics heavy and more elaborate than you ever dreamed it would be. The world is really rich and detailed, it’s a game you’re gonna want to live in.

Remember that scene from Lego Batman when visits the Orphanage and hits the little children with the "merch" cannon... that's about it.
Very glitchy, a step down from Arkham Asylum, better than Origins. The Scarecrow fear scenes are good, Mark Hamill's an amazing joker, and could have made a better game just using those scenes and not playing it.

perfect game design, simple to understand difficult to master. And you keep coming back for more. It's what I always wished for an Atari 2600 game in today's era. And good god that theme, it changes on each item you equip making it super HOT!

Yuppers this can be beaten in 15 minutes. But if you can accomplish that then you've put in a lot of time and effort to achieve that. This is a MASSIVE change in gameplay style from previous MGS games, it's tense, it's claustrophobic, it's an amazing sense of scale, difficult but friendly for new players. It's amazing how much there is to do in just a "small" map and while the game is darker it's still has a wonderful sense of humor that is true to MGS fanboys out there.

The PC port is phenomenal, freaking sharp and beautiful. I do have complaints over the analog stick sensitivity is off compared to the console versions, and also the music tracks for the helicopter were cut. I need Boss to run around to Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now." And really surprised how little Kiefer Sutherland is in this game. I nerd out over the final cinematic the fight on Motherbase, "WAS HE D RANK OR S RANK, I'd never have a D Rank guy on there. that would be horrible if the guy who died was S rank."

It's worth rebuying this "demo". And so was Zone of the Enders 1 and the PS1 demo disc also ;)

Freaking Crazy! It's such a simple design, but it feels so new and fresh. And it's cheaper then a cup of coffee.

Come in with an open mind.
As much as you might react to this game as confusing, frustrating or difficult, but soon it will click and then the game is actually really just thrilling, magical and whimsical. At it’s best it feels like climbing a mountain, that sense of accomplishment, and rewards you for discovering there’s more.

Charming, little game with a lot of heart. It’s not as difficult as Spelunky, nor is it as open as Terreria. What it is is a simple, well crafted and responsive controlled game. It’s a joy of just digging away trying to find the right route dodging traps and discovering new enemies and items. There are beautifully designed character and just clever takes on a robot western.
I do hope there’s a sequel, because the game is short and lacks new game plus or even procedurally generated levels.

Beware, this isn’t a well optimize port. It may or may not work even if you fit in the minimum requirements.

This game is AWESOME, it’s unlike most combo heavy games of this genre, in fact it’s different then most Platinum games. It focuses more on finesse, and it rewards you by making you feel like a surgeon by slicing enemies into little itty bitty detail. And you will want to leap in head first into the combat because you feel challenged in that will encourage you to play on harder difficulty. It’s a game worth replaying, loaded with dozens of VR missions, 2 other playable characters with their own play styles and a story that’s crazy with a presentation that’s outrageous and delightful.
It’s an innocent joy of what is excellent about video games and it not afraid to be just that.

This is my favorite Double Fine game. I never once felt I tolerating a horrible design flaw just experience a beautifully realized world. It’s simple mechanic of nesting dolls are a joy to just explore and find anything from the smallest little mouse chasing after cheese mummies to the largest bullies who give wedgies to other dolls. And then to top it off a excellently crafted story of the early 1900s industrial era child labor politics all to rescue a loving family. It’s a game with a lot of heart.
