After two years following the initial release, the game has significantly improved with the introduction of version 2.0 and the expansion. While it ideally should have been this way from the start it is better late than never.

No, but seriously, this game is like the Pokémon adventure Nintendo wishes they had the guts to create. It's a rollercoaster of laughter, strategy, and occasional frustration when that elusive monster just won't cooperate. Forget Pikachu, this game's mascot should be a psychologist because it knows exactly how to mess with your emotions.

In a world where creatures jump into balls voluntarily about as often as your cat willingly takes a bath, this game stands out. It's so much fun, even Professor Oak would consider retiring to play it full time. So, put on your trainer hat, practice your stern 'Get in the damn ball!' voice, and get ready for a gaming experience that even Jigglypuff would stay awake for!

Boring loading screen simulator. All enemies feel exactly the same. Engine and game design show age.

Absolutely hilarious fun with friends!

I would normally recommend this game. But the forced always online ruins things.

Until offline mode is added I cannot recommend this game due to current server instability and the chance this game becomes unplayable in the future if the servers are ever taken offline.

Was fun for the first few hundred hours,
but then becomes a massive grindfest unless you throw tons of money at it.
Then it is no longer fun, unless you want to become broke.

I really wanted to enjoy this game, pre-ordered the gold edition and was really really excited to get back into the battlefield series. Unfortunately the game is far from complete, older series games had more Features, weapons and were overall a much more complete package. They released this in a state that is barely the bare bones framework that is a battlefield game and expect the community to report bugs and request features for them, it used to be a job to be a Q&A / game tester, but EA expects you to pay them to then do their job for them.

Very awesome game and series, love all of Larian Studios stuff, get a friend and play them asap!

This game is absolutely Amazing value, for 20$ you get hundreds of hours of content and its extremely fun, especially with friends. My friends and I have only beaten 2 out of the 5 current bosses and I'm 50 hours in and having tons of fun.

It's mind boggling that this is considered early access as it runs great and has lots of content and is cheap, just get it! FOR ODIN!
