The actual basketball game is fun, feels great when you block at the right time, or are able to pull off a combo, or just good teamwork happens. It starts being fun when you've gotten enough characters leveled to max level, and have enough skill points on their skills. Most of the games you'll play are with bots or AFK players, bring friends. From the menu input delay, to many different in game currencies, to random things that have nothing to do with the actual game. There are too many out of the way elements that don't provide any value to the players.

Why the hell is there so many time wasting menus, with the worst delay when trying to accept/close them? Every menu or interface button, after clicking it waits 5-10s before either closing the menu, or giving you another menu button to wait for.

Example:
There's a job menu where you have to set the characters you're able to play, to jobs, that takes them hours to complete.
The rewards are so minimal and not worth it because you'll get 3 menus to click through per job. This is to give you a headache so you stop slamming your head into your mouse, to get through menus, and go to the shop and buy a ton of points.

The rewards and in game currencies will help you boost your character, so you can play them better. For example, there's a way to buy 'skill balls' and if you want to buy more than 1 with your currency a day it will double in price. You use X of these skill balls to level up your skills, to give you better abilities to use in game.

Everyone has access to the same characters, but if you're not interested in paying for overpowered characters to compete, the prices to collect the amount of money you need to begin playing competitively with a few characters is pretty high. Then you have to wait each day for a skill ball, to level up your skills on that character.

Characters get leveled up with drinks that look like Mt. Dews, then you're able to prestige those characters when they've reached the end tier of the level stage [e.g. level 1 - level 10 times [prestige to level 2] level 10 more times, prestige, level 10 more times to max level (30). But the game mostly hides the ability to prestige around 'books' which are sometimes very rare to get and collect for enough to prestige.

Additionally, there is a food minigame to 'craft' food that give the characters buffs before they play basketball, additional stats like better jump shots, or stealing/blocking. Yeah it's a game but the food like nachos or fried chicken will not help you, any athlete wouldn't eat this garbage could at least be a bit thematic.

Also 'Freestyles' that allow your characters to add a bit of player identity like stylistic flare to your shooting, or passing, are way too expensive. The way the system works is you a 'card pack' that provides puzzle pieces of currency, to use to then collect(40 per freestyle) to actually obtain a freestyle. There are RNG ways to trade up your puzzle pieces, but there are no real ways in the game to actually get and use the freestyles you actually want, unless you want to waste your entire life buying packs, waiting through menus, then eventually getting enough of the puzzle currency to get a Freestyle Ability to use on one of your characters, you'll need to do it per character, per Freestyle.

Cosmetics you get with sometimes rewarded 'high level' currency, will give you a bit of more character identity, but in the end it will all be a gimmick for you to buy something with real money, because it will take too much time, to move forward.

Don't get me started on the menus from the Mail system.

If there was anything I would pay money for, besides the small amount I've spent so far, would be for a way to never see a menu again.

It feels like they don't even know what made the original game work.

I think the devs have had a tough time to see their game slowly die off. It was probably brought on by bad timing (HLL was released around the same time) so it had to compete for the same audience.

Possible solutions would be to lower the price point. It's way too expensive for a dead multiplayer game, the more people able to buy it and possibly gift it would bring the game back to life, and also they need to have a free weekend with the lower price point. People are pretty patient to jump onto a new game these days and if their friends are discouraged from the price or if the longevity of the game that takes time to learn, at least they can do it in a setting where they aren't discouraged by the price.

This is like real life to me, because I play Volco and burn all my bridges.


In duos, if you want to play with a specific master skin that you don't own:
- Select a master that is different than what you want to play,
- then navigate to the master you want
- then go to the skin you want to use, and just be idle on that spot until the game queue pops

Buy this game if you like to manage different characters to achieve a goal. Every class has a unique set of abilities that you use to achieve different objectives. Classes include a couple of different ninjas, sniper and a samurai. I bought it onsale, but it is worth the full price.

Crossout is a game that focuses on a managing market shares.

Devistate your enemies by driving prices into the dirt or out bid competitors and destroy opponents with high mark ups on crafted goods that require items they need to slave hours of their time to get. Unless of course you cave and spend real money, which seems to be the point of every free to pay game these days.

Though there are good aspects, the coolest thing about Crossout is that it has a really fun minigame of blowing up nerds in a car you put rockets on.

When you think Crossout think Auction House meets Twisted Metal meets LEGO.

The stupidest thing about Crossout is it's a car game but they added an Alien faction that gives people rocket boosters and makes their 'ship-cars' fly now... genius, smart. What could have been an amazing game is on the brink of being trash, with the bogging down of microtransactions and a system that doesn't reward MVPs.

It's okay, but for how long?

DayZ will be the reason why early access will fail and future projects that could be amazing will not get the appropriate funding to complete their projects. Development on this project is a joke.

This game is clunky. I believe the first two games should've just been recreated with more of a focus on new environments and finishing up some of the best parks for career mode objectives. Some features were interesting like the riding views but otherwise they should go back to the roots of an easy, sandboxy, game. Buy RCT2 instead.
