Very fun, but matchmaking is pretty unbalanced. I am nothing short of terrible and I am matched with the one loser cracked out of his gourd can knock you out by swinging only once, picks you up and yeets you in less than a second. I can barely throw someone away from me.

This game has given me something I haven't seen another game give me. Hope. The HD2 community banded together like they do on a dive and rectified a terrible corporate decision. We are powerful. We are HELLDIVERS!!!

I wanted to like this game. I really had faith that MAYBE after so many years and DLC and updates, that this game would be playable. I was unbelievably wrong. I am lost in the story, the game keeps breaking and resetting my progress in so many ways it is getting on my nerves. I am crashing, phasing through the floor, getting stuck in places without escape, getting rolled back from old saves has made me obsessively save and ruined my time playing. I cannot recommend this game until it cleans up the bugs and issues. This has been such a nightmare to run as well. I was expecting it to run smooth on a 3080 with a i9-12900k all water cooled, but no, it runs like ♥♥♥♥ and I am STRUGGLING to render some really simple environments. I am a HUGE fan of cyberpunk themes and aesthetics, and the only reason I got the game was because of how amazing Edgerunners was. But this game is a disservice to the genre.

Fun game. Fun art style. Fun concept. Hours of entertainment and WOW loooky that 2023 and a game that has mod support!!!!

Wow. Just WOW!!! Aside from the small problems (early access), it is just way too much fun to miss out on. I am blown away that there aren't more people talking about this game.

Game is really fun.... howeeeeever... This game makes it way too easy to troll or get trolled by other players. And I will say that 90% of the time you will get the most toxic players i've ever seen since I played league of legends. Of the 11 hours I've put into the game. I ALREADY got spammed comments on my profile telling me how much I suck at dbd.... 11 hours... seriously

Probably one of the greatest roguelike top down arcade like games i've played. This game has so much content it's impossible to have the same run twice (unless you seed it)

A lot of negative reviews will say that this game sucks because you can lose progress from other pirates, but that's the risk of the game, when you play, you play for the excitement that at any moment another pirate could come along to claim your prizes, or better yet, you claim theirs. This game is a passion project as well, not only paying respects to a dearly beloved developer who tragically passed away, but making it a perfect memoriam for other players to share and be deeply touched. 10/10
