5 years later, Dear Esther is still plagued by the same problems as the original release. While still quite beautiful, it is also limited in its interactivity and lack of player control. The developer commentary is interesting, though still doesn't turn this admitedly touching art project into a video game.

Representing a fascinating and oft forgotten area of history, The African Kingdoms adds fresh new content including interesting new civilizations and units, and new campaign scenarios that are both challenging and engaging.

Early Access Review
This reimagining of the FPS classic Half-Life brings the world of Gordon Freeman and Black Mesa to life and into the modern era. Completely revamped but still familiar, Black Mesa achieves all of its lofty goals with ease.

With a low price point, adrenaline infused soundtrack, and high octane gameplay, this twist on the arcade classic keeps Pac-Man fresh and accessible.

At best tedious shovelware, more aptly described as not a game, this barebones point and click finds its silly gimmick wear out almost immediately leaving essentially nothing to enjoy at all.

A cute little platformer that subverts our understanding of characterization and provides a deeply moving story that is more human than could be expected.

Simple and creative, but ultimately tiring, Scribblenauts fails to make creative use of its premise and instead rehashes its mechanics in the most cumbersome of ways.

Striking visuals and fun gameplay are unfortunately overburdend by an uninteresting and predictable story and level design that constricts the player instead of serving the gameplay.

Atmospheric, challenging, and deep, this reflective, dark and human tale of vengence and redemption earns its status as a cult classic and is one of the most thought-provoking, insightful, and immersive gaming experiences of all the modern shooters.

Well rendered visuals and established atmosphere unfortunately don't make up for lack of a clear narrative and absence of any game mechanics in this boring and confusing walking simulator.
