Game is amazing, couldn't be a more faithful and amazing sequel to the first.

However.

The publisher (SONY) has mandated you need to have a PSN account to play this game. No opting out, and if you happen to live outside of the APPROVED 69 countries that can make a PSN Account you cannot play this game.
This "feature" was added 3 months after the game launched, meaning if you bought this game on steam and played up to May 4th, you just lost access to the game entirely.

In the future this could mean you may have to pay a monthly subscription to maintain a PS+ account, just to play a game on PC.

I cannot in good faith recommend that you buy this game. Especially not while greedy SONY is calling the shots.

If theirs a way to obtain this game for free and avoid the PSN account, do it.

Amazing gameplay loop, combat feels perfect!
Thats where the positives end.

No endgame, no way to craft into better gear, gear is stuck on a random cycle purchasable from a shop each hour, only a few mission types and not many missions in total, no way to select difficulty on the mission you would prefer (its up to rng to determine what you get).... the list goes on.

Wait a year for this to get fixed and some actual content added and it will be good. No surprise its a fatshark game as this happens with every game they drop.

words cannot describe how good doom eternal is, its better than doom 2016 in almost every way. The only thing doom eternal lacks is the story events between the 2016 game and this as it feels like it isnt touched on.

Gameplay is top tier though worth every penny.

Amazing reboot of the original xcom, very well polished and the long war mod adds lots of replay value

best cod in a long time, multiplayer is great and zombies is amazing, only downside is at the time of this review the custom modding/mapping tools arent out yet.
