Immersive space FPS with awesome comic book art style. It has roguelike game loop of landing on a space station, fighting whatever you can, gathering whatever you can and escaping. Afterwards you upgrade stuff, craft stuff, prepare and repeat. It became one of my favorite games!

PROS:
- Beautiful, consistent comic book art style with good animation.
- Interesting variety of enemies requiring different tactical approach.
- Awesome ominous atmosphere of abandoned spaceships in space dystopia.
- Cool gameplay loop. Sometimes you gather a lot of stuff, sometimes you get killed, sometimes you gather a lot of ammo for not-so-favorite weapon, but it forces you to adapt which is kinda fun.
- Upgrading skills and weapons feels just right.
- Good, immersive audio. Especially the enemy voices.
- Funny narration.

MEH:
- Sometimes you feel like you have the best ever loadout, with awesome ammo, awesome skills, and yet you lose. It might be somewhat disheatening, but it doesn't ruin your playthrough.

CONS:
- none

Story rich arcade action game filled with 1980s nostalgia.

PROS:
- Beautiful pixel art.
- One of greatest game soundtracks ever, fantastic quality synthwave.
- The 1980s nostalgia hits all the right notes.
- Nice story.
- Interesting idea to put multiple short games of different genres together. Some racing, some beat'em up, some platforming.

CONS:
- Some of the games within game are really difficult. Shadowplay is excessively hard compared to rather casual difficulty of other games.

Funny and cute puzzle adventure with simple, but surprisingly deep story. Expect a short, casual cartoony game that focuses on exploration and puzzles.

Awesome roguelike card battler. Deckbuilding turn-based tactical game where you pick two monster clans and try to defend the Hell against hordes of Heaven.

PROS:
- 5+1 clans with entirely different card sets. Exploring synergies between them is so much fun!
- The randomness of map events, enemies, bosses and drawn cards makes each playthrough entirely different. It makes you adapt and update your tactics, but very rarely the randomness is to blame for a failure.
- Cartoon graphics is quite meticulous and animation pleasant to watch.
- Music and sound effects are good.
- Honestly, I played Slay The Spire (one of best deckbuilding games) some time ago, and I found Monster Train even better. You may disagree, but there are many points where Monster Train shines and wants you to try one more playthrough.

MEH:
- I understand that someone might find the hit enemy screams and sounds annoying and repeatable at some point.

CONS:
- It's a really, really good game, can't find any.

Decent little resource management puzzle game. It's not a typical building game. It's rather simple. Both the surface construction and underground mining are more like logic puzzle game, than building/management game. It was fun for 2 hours.

OVERALL SCORE: 6.5/10

Turn-based isometric tactical combat game, kinda like XCOM, but in Warhammer 40K world.

PROS:
- Variety of weapons, skills and equippable items for your Tech Priests.
- Many tactical choices for level completion.
- Choice of missions that determines your upgrades and new weapons.
- Interesting mechanics of canticles, special skills that can be used only once per mission. Should you use them in first or second battle?
- Great music.
- Good voice acting (but not a lot of it).
- Awesome atmosphere with Warhammer 40K lore.

MEH:
- Inbetween battles there is a room map minigame, where you choose your itinerary to the battle room. In most rooms there is choice to be made which might give you tactical advantage, or might hurt your Tech Priests or soldiers. The choices were lore-rich, but right answer was kinda arbitrary. I didn't care much for this part of the game.
- On normal difficulty the game became somewhat easy mid-game.
- The base price is too high. You can feel the indie quality in some points. I believe it's worth not more than $15. It is on sale regularly.

CONS:
- Terribly optimized. Fans running on high speed all the time. Try to play the game in winter or on cold day, because it will bring your room temperature up ;)

Cozy, memorable interactive fiction game about visiting a town of friendly mutants some 50 years after a disaster. But be prepared! This is more of a visual novel than typical video game. It's very easy to complete.

PROS:
- Beautiful, detailed visuals in cute art style.
- Awesome character animations perfectly expressing emotions.
- Moving story and interesting characters.
- A lot of quirky dialogue feeling very human.
- Decent music and nature sounds. There is no voice acting.

MEH:
- A lot of reading. You must be prepared for this.
- After a while walking to some locations becomes tedious.

CONS:
- NONE

Probably the best DLC/expansion I've ever played. Visit Toussaint, the country of wine and endless summer. Solve a series of nobleman murders in completely new, huge, detailed open world map. Interesting characters and varied quests. For me, it was 34 hours of enjoyable gameplay.

One of best action RPGs ever made.

PROS:
- Beautiful, vast, detailed world.
- Awesome visuals.
- Interesting and varied quests. Every quest seems well crafted.
- Good main storyline, fascinating lore.
- Gwent minigame with card collecting is SMASHING. My favorite part of the game is the resigned addict's nod when you propose a game of Gwent.
- Great voice acting, good music.
- Skill systems, development of magic signs and variety of weapons and weapon enhancements. You can make various winning character builds.
- Variety of enemies requiring different approaches.

MEH:
- It probably has to do with the game's engine, but some elements of animation are kinda clunky. Like characters eating food, or passing and object to another person.

CONS:
- None

Turn-based tactical roguelite with mech customization. You are a mech pilot leading a team of four mechs fighting robot uprising. Carefully choose your path to victory by picking a number of missions. Will you focus on making your mechs powerful, heavily armored or super-stealthy? Or will you perform preemptive strikes to weaken your enemy before final fight? Every playthrough takes between 10 and 20 hours.

This is one of the deepest turn-based tactical games I've ever played. High level of strategy and significant level of randomization (mission maps etc, but battle result depends only on your tactical choices). There is also some humor.

Graphics is basic, music becomes annoying after a few hours, sound effects may be a little repetitive. But the game is totally worth playing, even years after release.
