Game with tons of different types of builds, igloo, mud hut, log cabin, Japanese shrine, as well as builds from quite a few other games by this developer. This flew under my radar, but this game is really good and I've been enjoying it quite a bit!
If you want to see some gameplay from my channel, I'm doing a series, here's one of the videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eh-KY9eFp-s

Early Access Review
It has an interesting game play loop, build a siege engine, then use that to destroy something, then do a few follow up missions using the machine you already built to cause more havoc. So far there is the Catapult, the Onager, the Ballista, and the Trebuchet that you get to destroy things with, you also build a Battering Ram that is sent to the front lines for the troops to use since you are too valuable. I hope as early access continues there are more missions that come out and more siege engines to build and use. at 5.5 hours I have already completed all of the missions. I did enjoy my time and seeing how such devices were built was interesting.

I was told that I could be anything I wanted when I grew up, so I became an exploding blender!

A Brotato style bullet heaven with a hand drawn style.

My blind 'lets' play' of the game can be seen here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F01owJgnXT0&ab_channel=norsehawk

First of all, I like the hand drawn style to the game, from the intro movie to the gameplay the world and monsters all have a hand drawn style to them. The normal game has 20 stages with increasing difficulty with a mini boss every 5 levels, however you can get elites based on how much experience orbs are left behind at the end of a stage, every 10 orbs and an elite will spawn on the next stage, and the number of orbs left behind is carried over between stages, so if you left 6 behind on stage one, and 5 on stage two, 10 of those will be spent and you will have a bigger elite monster on stage 3. On my last run, I had the final level 20 boss, along with 3 elites, so things were a bit hectic!

During each playthrough the advancement tree is randomized, unlocking an ability will often expand the tree, either along the path you are on, or nearby, elite drops during levels also allow you to reforge paths, reroll orbs or forget unlocked selections.

Between runs, like Brotato, what you did on previous runs unlocks more options for future runs, you can unlock melee weapons, ranged weapons, characters, and what abilities will be available in the next run, you can pick up to 10 of 12 to appear so there is always some randomness between runs.

NEGATIVES:

I kind of wish the camera was pulled back just a tiny bit more as even basic monsters are pretty big on the screen and it can get crowded and along with big ability effects as well as monster attacks, the screen can get very busy and visually overwhelming at hectic parts.

What I would suggest to the developer: Consider making a slider in the options menu to lower the opacity of player attacks/abilities so it is easier to focus on the monsters and their abilities rather than your own attacks making things harder to see, this would be a good accessibility option to consider! Maybe pull back the camera a bit or make it an option to make the game feel less 'zoomed in' however that might make the game easier as it would give the player more screen real estate to work with...

Nice quick little title, got a review copy from the publisher to check out on my YT channel. Went in blind and beat the game twice before I looked at some information that told me I beat it as I got the end screen, then the game begins again. Took a bit longer to get all of the achievements, but another 100% for me! Nothing super scary here, but did get goosebumps and a sense of fear at a few of the anomalies I noticed.

As the description says, 10-90 minutes to beat, I finished the first time at about 26 minutes due to overthinking things and about another 20ish minutes of play to get the last 2 achievements.

Once Upon a Dungeon II is a traditional roguelike game it has options for difficulty as well as if you want Permadeath to be a thing. the graphics are adequate for the genre, the sound is also adequate. the rain and thunder stand out and sounded nice.
Single character that develops via skill point and stat point assignments (3 skill and 5 stats per level)
Overall it's a good traditional Roguelike. I've been enjoying it on my YT channel.

Fantastic game of inventory management! Tried it out when it was on Itch and the moment the kickstarter went up for a full release, I jumped on it and really love this game. The team makes frequent updates so far and has a pretty solid roadmap of what will be added on the journey to a full release.
