By Far one of the best development and system builder/automation games I've played. Easily worth the money.

This game is a complete riot - Almost literally. The sheer size of the map gives you a playground that only few can match in today's AAA games.

Out of the 3 Just Cause games I'd say this is close to being the best. Waiting for a fully fleshed out multiplayer experience then we have ourselves a true contender for one of the best open world games.

How is it that a small (sub 10 employee) software dev could make a great game like this for $30.00? This will bring to light so many of the flaws that larger publishers have in todays game development industry. Look at Maxis, the heavy hand of EA is what brought such a great company to it's knees. The once mighty company that brought us Sim City 4 is now no more, that's okay though - we have a replacement and boy does it deliver.

Cities: Skylines is a great combination of Sim City and Cities in Motion. I love every little bit of this game, I've been purposely looking for flaws in this game to try and write something negative but it's hard.

It has open modding capabilites, great support, fantastic visuals, a humongous expansive map, a great challenge (on higher difficulties), humor and it works properly out the gate albeit some small minor glitches.

Overall definetely worth the money.

This was a difficult game to review. I feel as though this game is out of place in the entire series to date. It controls and plays just like the 2 previous(?) borderlands but it has a few things that bother me.

Sound - You can tell this game was developed and handed off to 2K australia. Almost every voice actor is Australian, not a bad thing but it helps when you balance the game with voice actors with more than one accent. This took away from the experience a bit for me as I found myself concentrating too much on the accents and not on what the NPCs were saying. Other wise the game is copy/paste in terms of sounds effects.

Gameplay - The obvious huge key difference is the gravity, or lack thereof. Nice addition, sometimes off putting though. The biggest drawback by a bound was the gravity when items fall from a fallen spawn. I found myself running (almost to my death) off ledges to retrieve purples, oranges or greens that literally shoot from the enemy after you'v defeated him. Again, the gameplay is pretty much carbon copy as far as Borderlands titles go.

Replayability - I felt as though I didn't want to return to this title after completing the campaign. Feeling as though I had to finish this game to get the whole picture. It somewhat grinded on me a bit after a short while, I fear I only played through it because I'm a loyal Borderlands fan.

I'm really conflicted and find it hard to recommend this game and purchase it right out the gate. I will on the other hand recommend it simply based on the fact that it is a Borderlands title and just that - not much new but still a good game.

Where to start with this title? Firstly I'll get it out of the way and say it's a good game, no question. It's far from perfect but if you like civilization then you will like this title.

I fear the single downfall of this game lies in the development. It's as if Firaxis did not have a large enough budget to fully complete this game to make it unique. There are a couple things that bother me with the game so far, the voice acting and it's oh-so-similar CIV 5 likeness. Maybe this was my own fault coming in to this game expecting something COMPLETELY different or something similar to Alpha Centauri. Not that any of these reasons are terrible but I think I worked it up in my head that this game was going to be the perfect blend of Alpha Centauri And Civ 5. It's not, it's good but far from a breakout series.

The sole thing I would say about the voice acting is that it needs more work. Each civ does have a unique voice actor but when wonders are complete or you're read a definition you get the voice actor who also voices the Kavithan Protectorate. Should this bother me? I think I was just spoiled with Civ 4 and Civ 5.

On to the good stuff - There were a few things I really liked almost immediately after starting. The futuristic theme lends more capabilities and options for the familiar civ player to start with. I love planetfall, this is basically the enactment of your ship touching down and establishing your first colony on the planet you choose. Before this you are allowed to tweak how you start and what starting benefits your sponsor and civilization get. These options range from scientific, cultural to militaristic benefits to help you mould your civ before you start planetfall, Pretty cool stuff.

The addition to upgrading your military was a very nice change. Depending on how you steer your civilization this can define what type of militaristic units you get. The 3 directions you can split in to are determined by how you research your technologies. Researching technologies can give you points towards an affinity which can affect your military in very unique ways. This is in addition to veterancy which was not removed but instead improved on.

Overall I would say this is a great title. I have been playing it since release and don't foresee stopping any time soon.

Go out and get it!

Where do I start with this game? I love it and everything about it. Kerbal has so much about it to like. It's robust, expansive, has great mod support and on top of that, the vanilla game is fun and challenging. At first I played this and was a little put off by the learning curve. While not being difficult it was tricky to learn as the tutorials were not very well developed in the beginning. Now further in to development there is a nice tutorial video and career mode.

For a simulator/builder game Squad may have inevitably shown people how to build and pilot space shuttles. While I'm still learning, I'd like to think I may comfortably pilot an actual plane (not really though).

As of the last patch (economy boom) this has attained the place as one of my preferred games to play for high replayability. It's even great for all ages. What else could you ask for? I'm going to push this review in to the future a bit as I'm still learning a lot of the quirks and functions of the game. At the initial asking price ($32.99C$), I don't have a hard time recommending this game to people who don't already own it.

"Hey, someone got Assassins Creed in my Arkham Asylum"

I have nothing but good to say about this game, although a little buggy sometimes - it works well for a multi-platform release. 2 things struck me about this title, the graphics and the content. The graphics while at their base are quite nice, once you download the HD content pack it becomes quite stunning. It's a must if you host a mighty machine.

Secondly, the content right out the gate is quite surprising. This game could easily keep you busy for 30 hours if you work your way through all the side missions. Another huge plus to this game is the multiple ways you can develop your character, offering ways to level Wraith, Talion or even your individual weapons with runes. While I'm still playing through the main quest line I feel comfortable enough to give this game a solid recommendation for most players.

This game cannot get more fun! If you want to experience the thrill of doing that big heist then this is your game. From bank jobs, to drug deals gone sour this game has it all. The team behind Payday 2 has not only supported it extremely well but offered tons of free and paid DLC to keep you going and leveling up. If you don't already own this and you love a good FPS/RPG then wait no more.

Fantastic simulator game, while it's had a slow beta and upbringing the development team behind it has done a great job with adding features and patching bugs when they see fit, If you like sim/builder games this is a must play.

From what I have played to date I have enjoyed. A little magicka mixed with an RPG. The insanely huge inventory of spells you can create is mind bogglingly fun to play around with. Highly recommended as a quick pick-up and go game.
