I just getting started, but I can say with all I currently did, this is the best game I played in my life.

Story, animations, re-playability (yes im playing 4 games in parallel and no game is near equal), character development, the "alive" the world is all the time. Even repeating the same choices you may have different dialogs or outcomes (and not just for dice odds). Some clues/cinematics not always appear in same point.

I think even playing 4 games in parallel I cannot get the deep and details of all game not near close to all of it. There is a insane amount of mechanics not only in battle, also inside the world, elements, skills and inventory elements that can interact in and out of battles.

You have to think to reach those mechanics, also there is a good design to do not spoil anything, to let you think, for example if you press ALT key it highlights the obvious but not the not so obvious, you have to check by yourself visually, exploration are encouraged and well compensated.

Skills are very important in different ways when you are travelling the world, and some elements depends on more than one skill to retrieve all the information from it, different perspectives.

I tried many times to predict something, and always got surprised with the outcome, no piece of environment is repeated, no mechanic or something in repeated in obvious ways. I never get bored, the sensation this game creates on my is similar when I started watching the series "breaking bad", I want to know what goes in the next episode, here is exactly the same feeling.

There is a ton of details like this, I'm being vague in order to not spoil anything.

I strongly recommend to skip all videos or guides, go blind, you will enjoy it x100 more, and reduce difficulty if you are not familiar with this kind of game, but skip guides. Enjoy the path of discover things in your own.

And regarding price, I believe this game can ask for 100 USD and I will pay it without any problem.

If you are a GenZ, enjoy your first REAL game. No pay to win/skip/convenience, full game without any pay to something inside.

TLDR;
This is not Rimworld, is worst, this game is deeper than any other game I ever played. 10/10

Long version:
4 deaths, and still dying... from the inside. Problems, even more than life.

Sometimes among us is more terrifying (not the game), than the external world:
- I cant handle insane dwarfs, are killing everyone and seems like likes to kill the best dwarfs, blood splat everywhere.
- Giant ravens are killing my animals
- Water is basically eating my base from the deep.

EVERYONE is dying!

I found a very annoying bug, It happened in every colony, at some point workshop planning does nothing, I have to manually add things to workshop in order to be constructed that thing.

I stopped playing because of it, Ill return later when this stabilizes a bit, if you die quickly you will not notice this bug.

TL;DR;
10/10 And no matter how much it cost, pay it, worth it.

Vampire survivors is one of those games I enjoyed a lot in every step I did, this game every time I thought is done something else comes up to surprise me and add content to defeat, well designed, well balanced.

The system designed to unlock content is excellent. Is pegged to archivements, normally archivements are kind of annoying to do for me, but because of its design was natural and a pleasure to complete them.

Characters are well defined and some of them on the paper are similar or equal, but when you play with it are different with minor differences but those defines how it should be played.

Buying this feel like stealing, IMO this game is so cheap for the quantity and quality it provides. And by far is the best game I played this year by a mile. (I knew it was released in 2021).

And I really think this game should ask for 10-20 USD, even in EA

Dont let low graphics fool you, It's a masterpiece, an excellent non-easy with a ton of mechanics and things to craft,

Any price is okay, worth it every penny, even in full price.

I feel it too simplistic, I feel like a mobile game with all "features" of a mobile game, and no deep mechanics.

I suggest to take a look of "Rise of Industry" if you like more challenging games, is IMO the same concept but with a superior experience.

This is what Pokemon should be, but the arrogance and conservative mind of the owners (Game freak, Nintendo, among others) do not let improve and became a well establish and modern in this days.

It's the old Pokémon, modern, modified a little removing crit-hits (RNG) to be a competitive game, also addresses IMO the most annoying feature PP with a stamina bar system.

If you want it's a coop game (2 players per team), the nature of the fights (2 Temtem vs 2 Temtem) give you room for a lot of strategy than a simple Pokémon game, in addition to mentioned few attacks are improved if a specific type of Temtem is on the pitch.

If you enjoyed old Pokémon games, this is for you.
