So finally beat this game. Don't play this. Don't even buy the bundle stars bundle that includes this. If you did, give the key to your most hated enemy. I feel like describing this game like dark souls, but dark souls was better in everyway. This game is just an exercise in frustration. P.S spoilers ahead.

Let me give you a general overhead of what you deal with. First off checkpoints are too few. There's only one checkpoint I encountered that fairly placed right before a platforming room. Too many times I died and had to repeat several rooms just to progress, it's dumb and a time waster.

In particular after dealing with the horrible beginning when you have to find your way to some idiot and go all the back (srsly it was boring as all hell, and it added nothing to the plot), you have to deal with a flamethrower room that's incredible difficult. Many players will stop playing this game at this point alone. This is because the checkpoint before this area forces you to deal with 3 enemies each time. So get killed by flamethrowers (instantly), respawn, kill 3 enemies, die at the room, respawn again, kill 3 enemies again. This is something that is constant in this game. You have to repeat so much if fail it's terrible and it never stops.

On the level 2 you have to go through a brief cutscene where you get "ambushed" I guess. Then you fight something like 5 enemies, then you get introduced to hyper jumping which is just double jumping. BTW you have jump a second time pretty much immediately after the first. You get introduced to a flying suicide bomb drone that's really annoying to kill without the minigun. Then you get to a platforming section of that part. Guess what? No checkpoints until now, just at the beginning at the level. So if you mess (like I did a million times) You get to eat garbage and redo everything, which also includes watching that ambush cutscene.

BTW you gradually unlock new power through the game, but why weren't they avaliable in the beginning? Seriously you learn how to sprint halfway through the game. Heck you don't find your first shield until like 2/3 of the way through the game.

After this the game difficulty sorta goes down, you get the shotgun which is basically the best weapon in the game. But enemies also get shotguns which f-you up terribly if you get hit.

I want to talk about the last 2 levels because they're BS. First off you basically go through like 3 idenftical rooms like 7 times. Enemies at this point start using the op weapons like grenade launchers, rocket launchers, snipers, miniguns. I can't tell you how many times I had to repeat a section just because when I entered into a room I got jumped by rockets... And because you have a small door to enter through to the next area, you pretty much always get your ass kicked in because enemies will lock onto you immediately. So basically everytime you go through a door you can expect to lose all your hp which is problematic at this point because hp kits become scarce.

This was beyond frustrating at one point because I had just gone through a ton of stuff, got a shield and a hp kit, went through the next door, only to die almost instantly because the enemies in the next room had snipers and rocket launchers. You have to repeat A LOT to get back to this room because again the checkpoints are so scarce. I was down to 20hp after this which, meant that I had memorize the next area in order to avoid getting hit.

Sometime after this you reach the final level which is pretty easy because the areas are wide open, rather than the bloody halls I had been fighting through the last quarter of the way there.

There's one boss battle, pretty easy once you figure it out.

One thing I find funny is that there voiceovers telling you what to do in the beginning. But magically the power in the space ship dies and so does the voice communications. So communications are just text messages by the second half of the game.

Everything about this game is a lie, "old-school fps?" Get outta here. "New generation graphics and game-play?" What? This game looks as good as perfect dark zero and plays like it too.

The story was interesting and could of been great, but there's not enough of it to make this game worthwhile to play.

One last thing, WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHAT HAVE WE DONE LT FALCON, IF THAT IS YOUR REAL NAME, I SAVED YOUR ASS. YOU DOOMED EARTH A--HOLE, YOU WERE THE ONE WHO SENT THE DISTRESS CALL, WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SEND ME TO THE MASTER COMPUTER IN THE FIRST PLACE? SRSLY ALL WE NEEDED TO DO WAS REBOOT IT AND DISCONNECT THE F---ING ETHERNET CABLE TO STOP THE ROBOTS. I DIDN'T HAVE TO DO 90% OF THE STUFF YOU TOLD ME TO DO.

Oh and ever heard of spell check?

IF you bought this game for 20 bucks or even 5, all I can say is, sorry for your loss.
