An incredible game.

Few games see the level of commitment from their developers to add content and enhance gameplay as Terraria, let alone over the course of a decade.

Now that the updates will finally be coming to an end, it seems fitting that Terraria earn the “Labor of Love” award for 2021.

It’s certainly earned it.

I've been playing Kerbal Space Program for a very long time, starting around 2011 or 2012, back when you downloaded the game straight from Squad.

KSP is a wonderful aerospace simulation game that has consistently improved with every single update. In the near-decade that it has existed, there have been several quality of life improvements, the continued development of a fun and unique brand/style, the addition of many mechanics and features, and tons of continued support from the modding community.

Whether you're a huge fan of spaceflight and aeronautics, "fly-curious," young, old, or somewhere in between, KSP is a great way to experiment, learn, and have fun with aerospace science. You'll be shocked how quickly time whittles away while you're soaring amidst the skies, blasting through the atmosphere, landing on distant planets...or having small panic attacks when all of your parachutes fail.

A well-crafted sequel to the original game, Book II improves upon its predecessor in every conceivable way. Increased resolution (albeit only up to 1064 x 768), item degradation and repair mechanics, a hunger/thirst system, more customizable difficulty settings, additional weapon types and special skills, and more.

Highly recommend it to those who played the original entry (which is free on Steam and GOG.com), and to fans of system-based RPGs in general.

Hello, friend. I see you are a gamer of culture as well, considering that you're even here reading this review for this particular game. Look, the fact that you're here at all is pretty much all I need to know to tell you that you'll enjoy it—if, my transinternet powers of perception are accurate, that is.

If you're a fan of RPGs, old or new, anything and everything in the spectrum between Ultima and Skyrim, I highly reccomend you play this game for a few reasons.

1. It's free. It literally costs you nothing to download it.

2. It's charming and well crafted, despite being 11 years old and made by a dev team you could count on one hand, a remarkable feat given its quality.

3. Character customization is superb. Race, Axiom, and Class combinations merely define your starting equipment, and shift a few of your stats around, but if you're patient enough to SMASH that "roll" button, you can get a good starting character regardless of these three qualifiers. Any playstyle is possible.

4. The story, environment, music, dialogue (text only), and interface may not be up to Crysis standards, but they're pleasing to look at, read, listen to, and interact with, respectively.

5. It is legitmately fun to play, especially when it comes to finding loot and slaughtering the innoc—UH, I mean, getting experience points! Not counting the unhealthy number of times I save-scummed to get good items from random chests, or from restarting my character a great many times after trying out all the classes and such, I'm told by the game that I've spent about 24 hours on it, in what I'm pretty confident is a 100% playthrough.

Why not step away from your existential crisises for a weekend and venture into the land of Thaermore? Besides, how many RPGs have velociraptors in them? That's right, velociraptors, in the forest.

One of the most satisfying medieval warfare experiences available today...at least until Bannerlord is released, hopefully sometime prior to the next world war.

Eldritch has an interesting premise, it promises to be an engaging action-adventure roguelike with lore elements extracted from the glorious world of H.P. Lovecraft, but falls short.

Featuring a dismally stale world and little-to-no variety in visual and sound effects, Eldritch does not invoke the necessary tone of wonder and exploration necessary for a roguelike.

While the game presents a somewhat quirky and amusing environment in the first minutes of gameplay, this is by no means enough to carry the audience forward through its ill-defined world and non-existent story, well, outside that of "you are trapped in this world, escape."

Early Access Review
"Paint the Town Red" explores an alternate world where mankind has abandoned firearms to focus on more important things; things like melee combat and killing men with a single kick.
