4chan
I just want to say. Anyone else who got a steambox (the lucky 300) be careful. My roomate was posting pictures of my steambox on 4chan's videogame board, they found the metadata of the pictures, found my address, and started ordering pizza to my house. Everything got really crazy really fast. Just be careful with metadata when posting online.

When you take pictures to post online always make sure geolocation tagging is off.
I know this. My roomate didn't. Not my fault. I'm warning others just in case.

Both 4chan and meta-data are two things you have to really watch out for, hopefully you will have time to test out the steammachine between all the pizza arrivals

Thats really helpful, why did I never think of that

I saw that thread... it wasn't the metadata, it was the steam chat in the corner of a picture of your tv. Anyways; how's the controller?

Oh really? I didn't see what my roomate did lol. He just told me what happened. The controller is great! Needs some work to be fully integrated with the software. I LOVE the controller in game but I hate it in steam os.

So, how does Natural Selection 2 run on Nvidia? I have AMD, and the performance on Linux leaves a lot to be desired...

I open ACDSEE 3.1, open the JPG and save in PNG, the ACDSEE 3.1 is so old then he destroy all the metadata.

Or you can simply save image as .PNG or .BMP. They don't support metadata. If you need it to be .JPG, than just save it as .JPG again.
JPG -> PNG -> JPG = no metadata
Nice trick bro, i will remember that.

Every game I have run has gotten exceptional framerate. Metro last light is extremely smooth with full graphical settings.

Hmm... thanks. This might make the choice for my new GPU a little bit harder. Wanted to get a 290, but if a 770 would work better with linux...

My desktop has a 770 in it, its a VERY good card. As far as money goes if you want budget I'd get a 760. They are cheap and have extremely great performance. My roomate uses one and he can play just about anything on extremely high graphical settings.

My budget is $400, and I'm waiting for non-reference coolers on the 290 to decide. Apparently the 290 pretty much matches the 780, but with more vram.

Only thing making me second guess it is the sub-par *nix drivers.
