Sounds of Skyrim returns - Bloat Free!
Greetings!

First and foremost I want to apologize for the complete lack of communication in the past 10 (!) months, especially since I gave incorrect information to fix the bloating issue (Which aggravated the situation). I was not familiar with the new scripting system and mistakenly thought that uninstalling everything would work.

As some of you may know if you've been following my activity since I started modding, I sometimes have to leave for extended periods of time without knowing when I will be able to return. In the past, it happened when my mods were in a relatively stable state but this time I had to leave soon after starting to work on the fix and left people in the dark. I am truly sorry for that.

This being said, I am overjoyed to let you know that I was able to come back to Skyrim modding last week and, with the help of community modder Arthmoor, I have been able to fix the bloat issue for good! Note that only Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization was affected by the problem, despite what I said before about removing everything.

I am excited to know what you will think of Civilization now that you'll be able to enjoy it in a bloat-free environment. As always, I enjoy reading the feedback I receive to improve Sounds of Skyrim.

On another Sounds of Skyrim subject, I previously had plans to work on a fourth module that would focus on improving the sound atmosphere of several quests and special events. I have decided after much thought to let it sit on planning stage for now because of how script-heavy it could be.

So as of right now, consider Civilization to be the last Sounds of Skyrim module, meaning that the project is finally complete. I will probably release a Full Version that'll contain all three modules in one in the future.

Well then, this being said, I thank you again for your patience, feedback and comments for Sounds of Skyrim and I wish you an "audibly-awesome" playthrough!

Cliff

I never used Civilisation and continued using the Wilds and Dungeons after they were hidden with no apparent problems at all. I was lucky in that others removed them in the panic and found that the problems were even worse, so I just continued using them until I updated to patch 1.9 and decided not to install them with my new game.

I posted on the Nexus about these a month or so ago, offering my support and asking if they were likely to be resurrected. I am so glad you have fixed the problems and now I look forward to trying all three. I can finally endorse them, as well!

Cheers!
