L4D2 Survival group

Hello! I tried several lobbies and games to find a descent survival group, that is also capable. I love the survival mode, building a fort, preparing for the best survival conditions, staying close. But it's so hard finding descent people. Most just end up wandering of, have no clue or are just trolling. So would be fun to find some descent people :)

Not sure if these groups are the sort of groups you're after (as they're just for vanilla survival) so no fort building. But the following two groups are for survival mode enthusiasts http://steamcommunity.com/groups/NorthAmericanSurvivors

The first is specifically for North American players and the second is more of an international community. They're both a great place to start meeting survival players, although I believe both require you to be invited by other members. There are plenty of great survival players out there, I'm sure if you checked the screenshots tab you would be able to find many of them (I haven't checked the l4d2 screenshot board, but the L4D1 board is littered with survival screenshots -so I'm assuming). Thanks for your reply. I will certainly try these groups! Now I generally cant find enough people, or I find people that have no clue what they are doing in L4D2 in general. I just want a descent group, that wants to stay alive for as long as possible and get the best time with good tactics and teamwork.

My opinion is there are a lot of kids and teenagers who play this game that have NO concept of team play. sometimes it gets so bad that when we finally-if at all- make a safe house i will bail. at least the nps know how to play as a team. lol

Gold miners and NA survivor groups are your best bet for a good survivial game... i can attest to thier maturity and dedication to serious survival play. Some of the best are in that group and you and anyone else interested in survival should join that group and try to make friends w/ the members.

Thanks for all the nice comments! Ill check them out. I probably nowhere near their survival standards though, but I simply love the mode :)
