Fullscreen bug?
Managed to balance the fps out abit more on my old GTX 770 and i7 4770k 16GB of ram 1600mhz, But I can't seem to get the game to take up my entire screen? I get these bigass black bars all around, as if i'm running on a low res, except i'm running it on full 1920x1080, Is this a bug do you reckon or a problem on my end? Very odd.

Yep its a bug, google borderless gaming download it run the game in windowmode will fill the screen for you. Temp fix for now.

Yeah the game outputs 1080i instead of p so the monitor ♥♥♥♥♥ itself. Classic Japanese programming.

Aha, thanks a bunch, will get that one for now then.

I fixed the aspect ratio/black bars problem pretty easily.

Ok for AMD open up your driver panel, and click the display tab on the bottom. Turn on GPU scaling and for scaling mode, select full panel (I think maintain aspect ratio should work as well). I don't know how to do this on nVidia but you can look for similar options.

Run in windowed mode instead; 1920x1080 in fullscreen is actually 1600x900 stretched.

I think I fixed it for myself by hitting [Windowed] in the game and then pressing [Alt + Enter] on my keyboard.

Looks like 1080p fullscreen now. I too had a lower display resolution when I had it set as [Fullscreen] in the game.

And people said this was developed on pc first. HAHAHAHAHHA......

Seriously though. Its clearly ported directly from the ps4 since thats likely 900p upscaled.

They did, by some miracle, get arbitrary aspect ratio support working. But the underlying framebuffer / window resolution management is complete crap :-\

At least they use compute shaders and actually have a reason for being D3D11, unlike a few recent titles from Square-Enix :P It bugs me when a game is D3D11 and then uses the D3D9 subset of features, because that kills off support for stuff like GeDoSaTo and various other tools.

acually fullscreen is just 1600x900 the resolution setting does nothing thats why it looks blurry :D

Same problem.

The swapchain resolution does change in windowed mode, in fullscreen it doesn't. I haven't had time to look at the individual rendertargets for each render pass, I'd prefer to play the game a bit before picking it apart :P

Wow it's nice to see you playing this game too kaldaien, hope you can bring your skill and magic to fix what need to be fix.

Yeah, here's to hoping.

So long as I run it in windowed mode it runs very stably, but when I switch to Fullscreen there's some interesting wonktitude above and beyond the resolution issues - performance plummets, framerate is very unstable, screen tearing gets pretty severe with and without VSYNC.

I haven't taken the time to go ahead and tweak anything in my NVidia Control Panel yet, largely because I'm having too much darned fun playing the game.

Fix at least this annoying and unplayable resolution bug!
I do not want to use third-party software to play the game for which I paid $ 60. Where is the patch?
