What's better?

I've seen some awesome Legendary weapons, but is it worth to farm all those?
Or are most highlevel E-Tech weapons good enough? Like I've seen some really awesome SMGs.

It kinda depends on the player. There's only a handfull of legendaries I find actually useful, and I avoid all Etechs like the plague. Blues, purples and my fave legendaries are all I use except the occasional green anarchist.

But as far as farming goes.... as someone who has spent at least 1000 hours on farming, I'd say most of it was not worth the trouble, and I wish I had my time back. Only farm for a gun you know you'll use.

I had some high damage E-tech dahl smgs, which I thought might go well with cat class mods for siren. other than that, I'm not sure, a few shotguns were nice, but sniper/assault/pistols i mostly found mediocre ones.

But I find them way easier to get than legendaries..I'm really unlucky with farming, I only got average ones most of the time, I never got a bee shield from about 350 tries, though I had a fire type conference call which was nice.

well, i like farming, its pretty fun and plus i like having the legendaries, seraphs, unique and pearl weapons cuz not everyone has them and when they find that you do, they'll want ya to dupe it for em, some are pretty crappy at 50, and 60, but once you get into 72, then they shine, until you do op stuff lol

I think some of the legendaries are geniunely useful but certainly not all. For me it's more a matter of having fun with the unique characteristic of them. For example, the Delivrance is a ho-hum shotgun but i get a kick out of throwing it at raks and watching it go. Very few of them are must haves, maybe the only one you really must have is the Harold which you can buy out of the torgue vending machines.

Pretty much all plasma casters are rockin smgs and Bandit splasher blashters e-tech shotguns are also fantastic (imho). Both the smgs and shottys use lots of ammo though. Most other e-techs... meh.

If you have fun knocking BNKR out of the sky repeatedly with a Harold, go for it. Ditto racing thru WEP to get the to loot midgets. But you definitely don't have to 'farm'.

I haven't played the DLCs a lot yet so I haven't had a lot of good weapons..most fun combo I had where 2 level 52 pistols from the torgue DLC, those which shoot 14 bullets per shot, as gunzerker. that was quite entertaining
