But as far as farming goes.... as someone who has spent at least 1000 hours on farming, I'd say most of it was not worth the trouble, and I wish I had my time back. Only farm for a gun you know you'll use.
I had some high damage E-tech dahl smgs, which I thought might go well with cat class mods for siren. other than that, I'm not sure, a few shotguns were nice, but sniper/assault/pistols i mostly found mediocre ones.
But I find them way easier to get than legendaries..I'm really unlucky with farming, I only got average ones most of the time, I never got a bee shield from about 350 tries, though I had a fire type conference call which was nice.
Pretty much all plasma casters are rockin smgs and Bandit splasher blashters e-tech shotguns are also fantastic (imho). Both the smgs and shottys use lots of ammo though. Most other e-techs... meh.
If you have fun knocking BNKR out of the sky repeatedly with a Harold, go for it. Ditto racing thru WEP to get the to loot midgets. But you definitely don't have to 'farm'.
