He has a dagger or a knife or something aswell but who cares about that useless thing
Medic is a class that everyone should know how to play competently, but I feel it's only a class worth breaking out in a pub if at least two other people on your team are exceptional pubbers.
He's better off maining a class that can have a more direct influence on the battlefield without having to rely upon others to do well, such as Soldier, Demoman, Spy, Scout, heck, even pyro can be decent in a pub.
Of course, this is assuming OP is a pub player. Ignore this whole post if you play comp.
I'm actually still practicing them, especially Medic. I actually am a good Spy, but I choose to play these other classes, because someone who can play multiple classes well is a better credit to team to someone who can only play 1 class excellent, and not be able to fill other roles. In the case of someone going competetive, practice the class you're gonna be in the competition, but also play the class giving you the most trouble (for me, Scout) and find the class's weakness(s).
So anyway, If you wanna master one class, practice it. If any class gives you trouble, play it too so you can understand what to do when encountering said troublesome class.
