Heart-Breaking
Ok, so already you can obviously tell that im a stabby fan, (names, spy Hale's). Im just trying to say im a Spy main,-or im I? All my TF2 career, I've enjoyed all the classes, but spy REALLY stood out for me. Since then, i've been playing consistant Spy. But, now im starting to realize if I do really wanna devote my TF2 life on Spy. It's legitimately 'Heart-Breaking' to see that i've devoted my TF2 life to spy, but it's all fading away. The more I watch frag videos, other AMAZING players, i46, i49, ETF2L, ESEA, LAN, I start to focus more on "ACTUAL" classes such as Scout, Soldier, etc. But literally, my -TF2- Heart is in a tug-o-war. Do I stick to spy? Or do I give up what i've literally spend years on to devote myself to another main. IM SO CONFUSED. I don't even play competitive. (I have a discussion on if I should start comp. tf2). Please, m begging, Help me </3

There's no reason to worry about something if you're having fun doing. (Brain Storming)
Wow. I am going through this EXACT same thing right now. No exaggeration.

There's really only room for one spy on a team. You should start maining medic, it's good for you.

But that "one-room" could be for me.

If you can land ambie shots like a boss, read players and use all the tools at your disposal there is no need to change your main as a good spy can be an even match to a good (other class) the spy just have to not miss there is no room for error, but why would you make an error... So stick with spy, ambi is god, ambie knows no bounds, ambi solves all of lifes problems, spy has ambie, spy is ambie, spy is god...

He has a dagger or a knife or something aswell but who cares about that useless thing

I can't recommend this if the OP plays mainly pubs. Being a medic means a very large degree of your success is based on how well your other teammates do, meaning if you get stuck with a team full of bad players, there's no one who can really benefit from you being a medic.

Medic is a class that everyone should know how to play competently, but I feel it's only a class worth breaking out in a pub if at least two other people on your team are exceptional pubbers.

He's better off maining a class that can have a more direct influence on the battlefield without having to rely upon others to do well, such as Soldier, Demoman, Spy, Scout, heck, even pyro can be decent in a pub.

Of course, this is assuming OP is a pub player. Ignore this whole post if you play comp.
When I started TF2, I played Spy as one of my first classes. I loved it. Never being seen. Making ice sculptures. Using the Enforcer in an all-crits server. It was nice. This went on for more than half of my TF2 life. Until, I suddenly realized, there were so many people good at another class. I saw all the Soldier mains, who could wipe out half the enemy team single-handedly. Scouts who could kill anyone that get in their way. Snipers that can kill you as soon as they see you. It was all so wierd. As I spent my days Cloak and Daggering around, never really planning anything out, getting a Kill/Death ratio of 1;1, I realized that other classes exist. Better classes (In terms of gameplay). Classes that are more fun. I played the other classes for a while. I liked it. Look at me now! I can fill the role of pretty much any class (maybe except Sniper) when we need one! At the moment, I main these 3 classes; Soldier, Medic, and Pyro.
I'm actually still practicing them, especially Medic. I actually am a good Spy, but I choose to play these other classes, because someone who can play multiple classes well is a better credit to team to someone who can only play 1 class excellent, and not be able to fill other roles. In the case of someone going competetive, practice the class you're gonna be in the competition, but also play the class giving you the most trouble (for me, Scout) and find the class's weakness(s).
So anyway, If you wanna master one class, practice it. If any class gives you trouble, play it too so you can understand what to do when encountering said troublesome class.
