When I attack a settlement or an army with 2 or 3 armies *of my own*, I have found that for some reason, the battle does not send in all of my units. This only applies to reinforcing armies. My main army for the battle has all of its units, for my other armies, usually my archers and cavalry are cut. I'm wondering if its a thing where the game cuts units out to make it run better, but idk if it can even do that or if that even makes sense. This is only a problem when I fight the battle in person. Someone fill me in because Cohors seem really bad for what they are. Several generic low end barbarian units seriously give them a kicking. And no, to my understanding legionaries were always well trained soldiers regardless of the era. They have very low attack, and that seems to be kind of the most important skill for engagements? They have the testudo ability but from what I have seen that just makes them die harder in a fight....

I've read several places that Attila is the best Total War game. I just bought it on sale. It seems very much like Rome II, which I bought when it came out, but haven't played in a while. What makes Attila better than Rome II?

Ok. I'm coming from Med 2. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I am having some severe issues. I find the visual clarity in this game absolutely APPALLING. I can barely see anything at all in this game. Everything in this game just looks so subdued. Everything is a slightly different shade of brown. Unit icons are pitifully small. The camera frankly sucks. I can't exactly tell what's so different but it just feels completely wrong compared to the Med 2 camera. It's actually unplayable for me...
