My current mod list.
Just a listing of the mods I am currently running, how I've named the files (in case it makes a difference in load order or some-such). I like the mods to actually say mod, so all my installed mods get that and a number to allow me to control load order.
I will be adding screenshots as well. To follow and show differences. I need to redo a few, etc.
Consider this thread a work in progress. I still need to detail check each one in the combined and make sure they are all playing nice. Each was included so far based on standalone tests.
Screenshots from the exact same spot in locations one normally cannot save were done using the instructions found in this thread:
How-to save nearly anywhere for that perfect repeatable screenshot!

Yes, the icon replacements packs are compatible with each other. Scan Icons you have 2 choices, bigger versions of the stock ones, or Other which features green checks and a nice red X. I like Other version myself.

You may want to try the HDR one. It makes the textures really pop out. You will take an FPS hit, but you seem to have a good enough computer for it to run without much lag. I usually run around 40 fps.

Gave it a quick go and here is a sample. Not sure how I feel yet. Seems a tad over-sharp, but that might just be the need to adjust from the very over-blurry starting material.

Yeah, it is a drastic change. I like it because it reveals all the detail. I can actually see things like texture and veins in leaves on trees. The animals also have a lot more detail.

Decided to keep it in the regular roster for now and added a new section on my list for ReShade. After all now that I've given in, might have to try a few of the other presets and see what they look like.

That list keeps growing, have a few more I need to try too.

I may drop the Rim Lighting mod though until someone fixes it so the Flashlight/Torch can be used when on the 'day' side of a planet. (thread).
Explains why everything is so well lit, we can't control the flashlight during the day. Caves have to be lit up.

Much as I like the darker more realistic shadowing created and dark caves, the game is unplayable on some worlds due to the strange idea someone at HelloGames had that the user's Torch/Flashlight should not be allowed to be turn on during "day" hours on a planet even when in a cave. Dusk, Night, Dawn it works. Just not daytime.

Hover feature, nice. I kind of like the rim lighting even though it's unrealistic. Makes the landscape look a little more interesting at night.
