Hazmat Gauntlet

Anyone know how to get the hazmat gauntlet? i seem to be missing something i cant find it in the crafting menu or is it a blueprint found like the other stuff?

I don't have it either but I have a feeling that you'll get it from the Builder in your base once you're done with his quests. I may be completely mistaken though.

Follow the quests of your 4 NPC's and you will get them.

true he is sending me to find a barren planet for some resource but if its purple as i suspect it might be i'll need a hazmat gauntlet

You need an armorer npc at your base. Hazmat guantlet is the first blueprint they give.

Get from the weapon crafting npc which you add to your base. think theres 5 different npc's to add with a workstation, only have 4 unlocked myself.

the gangulet comes from the Wepon crafter NPC. You won't need it untill after you have that NPC, any materials requested by the other NPC's won't require it untill after you have unlocked the armorer's station.

My first NPC was the Construction Tech. He gave me the beacon then wanted Spadonium, which requires the gauntlet. Problem is, I can only build the Constructional Terminal. I have yet to gain or learn the Weapons Terminal and I cannot move forward with the Construction Tech... any ideas?

Forgive my ignorance but do you mean uninstall and reinstall? I've logged off and on numerous times through normal gameplay and it's the same story.

Build the specialist terminals at your base, then then staff them.
One of them is a weapons terminal that needs you to find an armourer.
The armourer gives you a mini quest to get the plans for the Haz-Mat gloves.

Also Spadonium does not require Haz-Mat Gloves, as far as I can remember.

I'm trying to get spadonium, on a barren planet as suggested. Can't find it anywhere, the only plant I can't harvest from is called felvine or fervine and requires a gauntlet.

Update: after looking in another thread it looks like not all barren planets have it, might have to scan multiples before I find it

Some of the rares also need a specific type of sun to grow. The person who gives the quest make a point of mentioning which sun to look for.
Go talk to them again and make a note of that.
(I just got back from bouncing around, looking for a green star for one of those materials for the botanist. >.< )

Spadonium does not need a gauntlet to be harvested. Best way to look for Spadonium is to scan a planet. It will tell you that it has it and if it doesnt just scan another planet or warp to a different system.

This glitched for me. I had already interacted with "the miner" before building my base so I had to found a new base in a different system, then follow the quest from there.
