I'd love to hear of your most stupid/hilarious death in the game. Mine is grabbing a jungle boomerang man to sacrifice him on the altar, getting jumped and stunned by monkeys, falling right on top of the altar, and get sacrificed myself instead. I had the Ankh, thus I could collect my price - a pitcher's mitt....

Just curious. Since I can't in to the game at all. And I LOVE roguelikes/lites.

For all the things that can kill you, all the traps, enemies, and accidents... The worst thing BY FAR for me in my experience, is the hidden money. I'm trying to get the FINAL achievement, winning without ever picking up money, and there's hidden money in each level. I just got to 4-1, with a gun, 10 health, sticky bombs, jumping shoes, and lots of bombs. I picked up a gem hidden behind a pillar with absolute zero visibility... I know you need to whip EVERY pillar, but I didn't, and ruined the run... That'...

So many reviews worshiping this game and people talking about how it's so amazing and so fun, yet all I've seen so far is a very basic platformer with some super gimmicky and cheap deaths like a giant ghost that instantly kills you for no reason. It just feels extremely basic like a thousand other games--why do people rave about this game like it's so incredible? I'm not trolling either, I bought this to play with my kids in co-op and they have fun enough but it's kind of shallow as well as having cheap d...

Im in the process of 100%ing the game. I don't have any friends that play Spelunky. Would anyone like to help me get that achievement through steam coop play (or whatever it's called). Cheers.
