Hello everyone!

It bums me out to bring this news to you all, but today is the last day of my contract with SEGA. After the death of THQ and the SEGA acquisition, I was brought on board via contract to continue marketing the game and see it to launch. Having successfully launched the game and given it a month of support, my contract is wrapping up and I'll be moving on.

I'm not ready to discuss my current opportunities and next steps, but it's a safe bet to say you guys haven't seen the last of me. Either with CoH2 or elsewhere, I'll always have the CoH2 blood in me, and I'll stay involved as the game and community continues to grow. This game - and to a greater extent, the community - has changed my life. And I do mean that.

It's been an absolutely wonderful year with all of you, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you guys have done. You've been an intelligent and passionate community, supporting our game and efforts through the darkness of THQ's final days, to the final push to launch with SEGA. I've said it before, but the efforts of the community talking to SEGA and eventually getting me the job with them was a monumental experience that brought tears to my eyes. I'll never be able to thank you guys enough for that!

So once again, thank you everyone for all that you've done. It's been one of the best years of my professional life, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I'll see you all on the flip side! Stay in contact and keep being awesome. I raise this glass of Sam Adams to all of you, the greatest gaming community a manager could ever hope to have.

Достоверно указать причину увольнения я не могу, сам автор темы утверждает, что срок его контракта подошел к концу.

Судить Вам, но срок его контракта закончился на следующий рабочий день после принятия на рассмотрение нашего обращения в SEGA.

He hasnt, contract is just wrapped up, so he can do everything he want. I dont think its decision of management.

Т.е. не уволен, а у него закончился контракт. Ты знаешь чем занимается комьюнити менеджер? Работает с комьюнити, игру он не разрабатывает, сюжет и миссии не пишет.

First of all, term 'was fired' applies to the mentioned situation as far as it wasn't Lynx'es decision to leave.

Second - the petition starter wished him luck at the coh2.org topic-related thread. Russian community greatly appreciates what that guy did for all of us.

Third - there's an amount of nationalists that WANT people hate the petitioners. As well as the petitioners mean ho harm to anyone. All they want is a 'fictional story' disclaimer and some kind of regretting message from devs.

I say again, don't trust people that raise the hatred! Let them russians be in peace.

It's the best way to calm down some russians and it's easy to do. As russian I really dont like campaign of this game, have read memoirs about WW2 from both sides, and game show mostly the worst things.

Если уж темы с извинениями от комьюнити перед теми кто посчитал себя оскорбленным закрывают, то ожидать кадровых решений еще рано.

Ты тему то эту прочел? Там ничего этого нет. Просто видимо политика такая - ни перед кем не извиняться. Даже если не правы. Поэтому и предлагаю бойкот и негативные отзывы распространить на другие игры этой компании. Это будет нашим ассиметричным ответом на замалчивание.

Какую именно тему ? Я видел тем 10-15 где были одни оскорбления в адрес разработчиков. Те темы где не было такого держались очень долго, но как только там начинался срачь (а он всегда начинался) их быстро закрывали

Какого обращения в сегу? Его контракт был оговорён заранее ещё во времена покупки у THQ.

Whatched it. I say it's about 90% right. All I disagree with is the "Relic is Nazi" argument because anybody can be stupid. Look at the British movie studio that made "Enemy at the Gates." They weren't Nazis, they were just stupid. Hardly an honest mistake, but in the scheme of things, it's a minor mistake, and it can easily be solved with a "sorry," and perhaps a new campaign.

Well, to be honest, BadComedian made up some moments and btw in this case he have a very huge Unwarranted Self Importance. Also, its a very bad idea to use only his review as an argument. But still, you got a very good point.

Потому что в 98% - большинство этих "оскорблённых" были просто абсолютно невоспитанным фанатичным поцреотским быдлом и фанатиками Евгениями. Вы бы прежде чем их защищать, почитали бы, что они пишут, волосы бы дыбом встали.
