Crash to desktop, compability error? DO this
Open the registry editor (start > run > regedit)*backup your registry first using export, then continue...
Now check these locations for an entry that mentions steam.exe:

I buy games to play not fix code. Do your jobs and don't tell my how to do your job unless your willing to do mine or pay me to do yours. This is directed at the Devs and not to the fan whiz kids that seem to be able to troubleshoot better then the Devs

thanks mate, I will try! :)
Of course its not microsofts fault.. Relic/sega have released a game that uses steam.. despite fact microsoft would have created these entries... what did they test it on... Obviously not a pc thru steam as they would have seen the issue and dealt with it we hope rather than release a game that uses the microsoft OS (no choice really I know) ...that then clashes with said OS... basically means Relic should have coded this prior to release.... SIGH
