Regional Lock?
I have this game and want to see the Store Page but I couldn't get through.
Is South Korea belonging to the restricted countries?

Not as far as I know.

Hmm that is pretty odd, can't think why it's doing that.

You're not on a VPN or anything are you?

Nope, just regular one. And I could get through and see the AOE III's Store page.

Hmm... I can't think why that is at all.

The developers will see this soon and have a look what's up. If you're concerned you may the 85% off sale - maybe a friend is willing to buy it for you and then you gift the money over? It is very, very cheap so...

But I have this game...

Oh... I'm confused now.

You own the game but can't view the store page?
Sean Hur Jun 19, 2015 @ 8:19pm
Yes, that's why I was curious about.....

Even supporting the Korean language, why, regional lock?

As the product is not rated by the Korean rating agency, it's not currently available for sale there per their request. :-[

Even who does own this game, unable to review this game and see the Store page....

South Korea's not really strict though is it? Have they simply just not reviewed it? Or have they banned it?

Digital only distribution is in general much less strict than physical, however Korea is a bit more stringent and requires a rating for digital sales in the region. They consider the product unrated currently and thus it is not available. I don't have any details on if or when that would change.

Huh... and I thought North Korea was strict.

I'll do some research on it I guess ._.

It's really strange and doesn't make any sense at all. Then how the hell Blizzard such as Starcraft series and Diablo series has got the approvals from South Korean Government?
