Imho it's all a bit [redacted]
This is no test, it is a joke response to the OP in linked aoczone thread, which made somewhat ludicrous claims which seem highly illogical to myself, and many other readers.
You can choose to respond however you like, but if you actually have a serious point to make or would like to engage in normal discussion, the aoczone thread would be a much superior place to do.
I see. In all honesty the original post also looks like a jokepost really.
And now for something completely different: aren't you the mod on the AOE2 subreddit?
In all honesty where you're from should be completely irrelevant for a subject like this.
I'm also getting strange vibes from calling people weak minded when they say something like "I'm just an American scrub" the only reason he likely said that (considering the context) was to put himself into a position where he isn't going to get accused for arrogance (although It was kinda pointless to do so since the content of the post was going to make a lot of tumult anyway and he indeed should have known that).
He has framed in his mind that Americans are arrogant by default. Now that he has said that he can make some stupid statements and we can excuse them since he's just an arrogant American. As a proud American myself that's pretty inflaming. He can call himself a scrub no problem, but l won't accept that label he just used for a country of 300 million.
Racial stereo typing is a dangerous thing even when we target ourselves. I'm British. But no way am I typical. Although I do like the midday sun [locally] and tea :)
I've never even heard the term 'scrub' other than washing. I have just come back in after a nice cup of tea in a local cafe. As it was a City Centre place it had visitors from many places. I heard at least 5 languages spoken. Sadly those who live in places that are all of one race often don't learn of the richness of meeting different cultures. That is universal... not just an American problem. The children in that cafe were playing together - if only adults would learn how too.
END OT rant ;P
You can't build fact from hypothesis upon hypothesis if the building blocks are flawed so is the result. Or you could just say stupidity :)
Sorry - it's probably my meds :)
