Weapon Damage
I have noticed that guns seam to be alot more weak recently for example from bout 5 yards i hit a player 3 times with a double barrel shotgun hitting each one, the first ♥♥♥♥ hit his legs and the secong went into his chest then the third in his stomach and as he died he killed me. Iam not sure if this is down to connection or desync but something is wrong... Has anyone got any possible reasons for this or similar situations

Press Vest would explain this. Or just horrible server performance, which is the main reason why the shotgun is a bad choice imo.

Shotgun dmg got nerfed by 25% in .44 patch. So were some of the m4 parts

Combine nerfed dmg, with some desync and viola ! You probably killed him with the 2nd shot, but the lag killed him only after he killed you :) Its anoying i know :P

Close yes, but video games tend to treat shotguns like ♥♥♥♥ for the most part. about 75% of the time if you're not within 5 feet of your target a shotgun's not gonna do a damn thing. Then you have Left 4 Dead, where the shotguns are like sniper rifles if you do it right.

They did nerf the shotgun though. Ohwell.
