Battleye failed to update

Everytime i join a dayz SA server after 3 or 4 mins it kicks me and says battleye failed to update does anybody know how to fix this?

Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\DayZ and delete the Battleye folder.

Go to http://www.battleye.com/download.html and download the BEClient.dll

Put the .dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ\BattlEye

Start the game (run Steam as admin)

This problem is caused by there being something wrong with your file permissions.

I have the exact same problem: "failed to update". I did the same solution and I still get kicked out.

THIS (wish I knew how to make arrows pointing up) was my quick fix. Thanks to the original poster.

I just fixed it by turning off my computer and then turning it back on and rrunning steam as administrator and launch the game.

Right click on the Steam Icon, then choose: Run as Administrator

Just restart your computer. I had the same problem, and with the restart, Steam and Battleye updated and I could play the game just fine.

I had the same issues as well. I simply run a "verify integrity of game cache" on Operation Arrowhead seemed to fix the problem (may need to run it on Arma 2 as well)
