I can no longer move/walk in DayZ. Massive lag spikes.

Something is wrong with my game. After I load into the game I can look around with the mouse with no issues, smooth as butter. But the moment It ride to move or press a button, insant 5 second pause. Every. Single. Time. It's also on every server.

This game was runnig super smooth for me up until now. I thought it was my graphic drivers, so I just updated those, but same thing. I can look around with no problem, but the instant I press a key to move, 5 second lag.

However, I'm also getting this in Arma 3....which is really really weird. So now I'm thinking it's my PC and not the game, but it's only in Arma games, my other games are fine. And since DayZ and Arma 3 are two completely different games, I'm totally confused by why this is happening.

Does anyone haev any clue why this might be happening? Lag spikes when trying to move, but looking around is fine. Happens in both DayZ SA and Arma 3 on every server.

I got the same Problem dude :( we just can wait and hope that they fix it soon :( do you have AMD ore Nvidea? i have the radeon HD 7870

I'm using a EVGA (Nvidia) GTX 670.

The weird thing is, I can look around using the mouse just fine, it's smooth. It's only when I try to use a movement key does it stutter/pause for a couple seconds each time.

by me its WASD and any other key.i got a temporary solution! go to Steam. make a rightklick in dayZ and go to properties. go to Beta and switch it to Experimentral. now you can move. but tje proble is, you can only play on Testing server which delete your cha by every joining. just temporary that you can play a little. hope thats helped you!
