You spawn 10 Times near my Solinichi Outpost, and you are Fully Healthy,Energized,Hydrated in no Time. Now you attack me and my Friends which play fair.
Others should have the same struggles that we have in a perma Death Game, and not being able to so easily bypass this whole Mechanics.
My Group allready is taking the bigger risk making camp near spawn Area, being Friendly but cautious with other Players around and enjoying fighting off the Hostiles.
Than considder not often but also we have to defend our Town against fully geared Players, which can camp for hours without any suport structure and than they just have to run to the magical apple tree and are back in no time with circumventing survival again.
Also if a fully geared gets killed, if he gets his gear back he would be a fresh fully geared player, but thanks to apple tree he is full on watter, food and health in no Time and is able to camp for nearly hours again.
Many more stuff that gets influenced by this....
So me not using Apples doesnt solve the Problem. Do You understand?
Iam loosing my confidence in the Devs, not because of all the stuff others complain about, but because i cant understand how a sane developer who cares about his Players could keep this apple feature in his perma death game, after testing it for so long and knowing that its gamebreaking.
I feel kind of scammed by the Developers when it comes to Apples and Berries.
That pretty much makes you exactly like every other complainer.
If you don't like the current build, play something else.
It's not game-breaking though. That is an exaggeration.
0.63 isent out yet.
"I feel kind of scammed by the Developers when it comes to Apples and Berries."
You are kidding right?
so does that mean i will not need to eat 50 meals a day and drink more water than human possibly can before drowning? waste more time on apples... seriously, i guess apple trees have 1 apple on them at all times... real realistic, weird my apple tree has around 30 apples on and around the floor near it..
because he is sad little snowflake,
Groups of tents filled with gear and food. Maybe you have a few barrels stashed around the map as well.
I would also assume that when one of your group dies then they simply respawn and head for your groups nearest camp or stash and get geared back up, right?
That seems to me to have a far more detrimental effect on the concept of "perma death" than the ability to pick apples and berries, even if apples and berries are exploitable.
The concept of "perma death" has already been heavily watered down. So much so that, in my humble opinion, the only way to give it any real meaning again will be with the introduction of soft skills.
It seems to me that "perma death" is not really a feature of DayZ at the moment, and hasn't been for quite a while.
Read :) its all there.
Deactivate Appleas and Berries until the new system arrives with 0.63.
Problem Fixed, much stuff achieved through this , much other stuff fixed through this, whole new
real survival expirience possible.
1.
How can someone be against this?
2.
Which people actualy would be against this besides some trolls for fun?
3.
Am i so wrong, and the broken apple mechanic is so important to the Game that we need to keep it?
Camps are achieved.
Camps are Teamwork and a Endgame Mechanic.
Camps can be raided or destroyed.
Yes Groups can build camps faster, single players have it harder if they loose there camp and if they want to play something else than just camp building all the time.
So comparing this 2 sounds like a cheap excuse of yours to defend your easy endless apples.
I'd rather apple spam than deal with the whole 'Starving to death 20 minutes after spawning' problem that plagues this game.
Get over yourself.
God forbid I live long enough to actually play the game, right?
Additionally, how the hell is eating apples giving them an upper hand on you in COMBAT? If they're killing you, it's because they're outfoxing you in combat, not because they're shoving ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ apples into their face.
Smh.
He just wants his suvival game to be more like a survival game. You know, the way the devs intend it to be. The process of looking for food should be a pretty essential part to it wouldn't you agree? I don't see why you have to be so offensive about it.
