absolute maximum settings ultimate or w/e it is 68fps on a GTX 690; the hair effects alone cost about 20fps or more. game looks pretty nice tho shame about the shadow resolution tho could've been higher especially the self shadowing from the hair.

Put it on ultra 1080p and turned off vsync, got 32.6fps average.

7970m, i7 3610qm 2.3ghz, 8gb, win 7

Is the game already released???
Nox 4 MAR 2013 a las 5:40
GTX 670 DCU11
2500k at stock 3.7
Am getting anywhere between 30 to 65 fps depending on the draw distance. Seems to average around 40/50 in normal play( not cutscenes or prerendered scene) with everything maxed, no AA and 8x Anisotropic
Jack 4 MAR 2013 a las 5:41
It seems to cost (for me) about 14fps for tressfx alone.

ATI cards have significantly better compute performance thats probably why; as for performance DISABLE the dof from ultra and put it on high its a performance killer like in metro with advanced dof
Jack 4 MAR 2013 a las 5:47
Well, I have an ati card, it's still a huge drop in performance just for that though, i'll likely disable it and the advanced dof like you said, ssao perhaps to normal as well.

Too bad about the TressFX performance. As always, performance is more important than IQ in a game like this, so TressFX will be the first effect to be disabled.

Tesellation off and Tressfx off. 60fps constant 5870 crosffire, i7 870 @3.20ghz 8gb ram.
With Tessellation on chops my fps to 45 ish.
Tressfx destorys my rig, choppy as ♥♥♥♥, even with low settings and tressfx on, must not work for old generation cards.
Using FXAA on all settings, looks nice, no need to bump the AA up.

EDIT:

ULTRA - All settings on - TressFX off.
Single 25fps
Crossfire 33fps

the DOF takes a bigger hit than TressFX lol; i disabled dof and now my fps doesnt dip into the 30's everytime they use dof effects

Dof ultra to off is about 10fps, so that and tressfx is about 22-25 fps.

Well, 52 for average all max (FXAA and 4x AS) without tressFX. On a GTX 670 and i7 950. But for actual ingame tressfx drops my frames from about 75 down to 40-50 lol pretty harsh.

tress is kinda buggy to her hair spazzes out every now and then in cutscenes and it looks terrible; but when she is just sitting down or looking down its very convincing; its a step in the right direction but its not quite there yet.

sounds like this game needs some performance fixes for tressfx.

AS Noob.Deagle said, it looks pretty buggy atm, not suprising for the first game to support it, of course we will see fixes, but we can live without it.
