This is a really nice and well polished Metroidvainia... which almost no one has ever heard of. It's so good, however, that if more people had played it, I reckon it would be at 'overwhelmingly positive'. Nice bosses, not too frustrating, for once. Tons of secrets. Controls well. Not impossible to finish (I haven't done so yet). Plays very well.

Sheepo is a very pleasant game! Moving around is very fun and I love the idea of transforming into creatures to use your new abilities. The aesthetics are quite cute and exploring feels nice both visually and mechanically. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the audio, because even though some of the songs and sound effects were pretty great, the more silent areas felt a bit lacking or even jarring when contrasted with the sudden dialog sfx or music changes.

Overall, a great game if you just want to chill and explore, but it also offers some fun platforming challenges along the way.
