Okay, you clever people - I've been playing Crysis 2 on and off for the past two years on an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 with no problems. Until Friday when suddenly I got a message saying "unsupported video card detected" and "Failed to intialize game Setup interface." I have absolutely no idea what any of this means, or why it is happening now. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, verified game cache etc, but still nothing. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?...

I still cannot believe that this game which has been out for almost two decades cannot fix the issues it has with its multiple fullscreen bugs. Firstly, I cannot get the game to fullscreen at all and its been a decade since the "update" that caused all the issues. Secondly, for the people that I see online who can get it running in full screen, they say the framerate takes a huge dump and it can only refresh at 24hz!? I bought crysis 2 because it catches my attention, possibly it will become another game of 2011 that I love (like Bulletstorm or Serious Sam 3). I heard that with Openspy you can revive the online, but I don't know anyone who plays, why don't you create a group for all of us who play Crysis 2 to have a good time? ...
