It's a fun game. You start every run with 2 characters max, and then the usual rogue-lite progression happens - you fight, level up, visit stores, and buy equipment and cards. There is meta-progression where characters that have leveled up during a run gain experience, which eventually leads to them leveling up. The difference between current-run leveling and meta-leveling is that in the former the leveled-up character receives new racial cards and traits, which of course last only for the run. The latter gives bonuses to that exact race and lasts forever. There are also positioning mechanics but I wasn't really interested in them.

The art style is nicely made, the OST sounds very high-budget and I enjoyed listening to it

It isn't a really hard game IMO. And you most likely won't have that much trouble beating it, if you do just use Weasels. It is also kinda short so it isn't a bit time commitment, which might be good for more time-limited people.

Grim Dark fantasy with deck building rogue-like added in. Fun game with a bit of a learning curve.
