see some people talking about it how dosent work at modern pcs, how it is ?

I did a search of these forums and have seen people mention getting achievements for this game in multiple threads.. (like certain configurations mods disabling them, being close to having all of them, etc..) uh.. was this a GFWL thing? Is it possible to get achievements in this game?...

I remember that when this game came out, the multiplayer was lots of fun. I wasn't the biggest fan, but my dad absolutely loved the crap out of the game. I bought this some time ago so that I could suprise him, I do know Gamespy is not a thing anymore so I used the guide to run on OpenSpy instead. I just wanna know if theres a community here.
